Vampire Knight

Wed 2008/02/13 08:19
Now we have discovered from this previous poll that 16% of dannychoo.com readers are ladies I will start some lady-oriented posts from time to time - starting with another Manga to Anime adaptation.
Vampire Knight is a Shojo Beat manga which you can read all about at Wikipedia.
Looks like a lot of handsome Bishonen and one Bishojo.
Vampire Knight goes on air this April.

No wonder I love the art so much! I don't know why but I didn't realize it was by the author of Meru Puri!

Yay!
Vampire Knight is cute ^_^ I hate it how people keep on reading manga online for stuff that are already licensed. I mean, yeah I'm reading Naruto and Bleach but that is because it's so long to wait! The others, I don't want to look at the manga. I would rather buy the english books and wait >_< Bad, people! Bad!
But yea, I'm rambling. I want their uniforms and the bracelet and necklace! >_

Right...So wanting to support licensed manga is looked down upon now? Even if I look at a few translated ones but still purchase the ones in English? Hmm..Interesting..

i buy my fair share of mangas, but sometimes the editing and censorship is just so horrible that its much better to read scanlations. i am not saying that you shouldn't buy the mangas to support the artists, but its more based on individual cases. a good example is the cmx's english translated version of tenjho tenge.

My post had nothing to do with a person's choice to buy or read manga online.

I personally just read them @ my local conbini whenever I can.

I'm commenting on how the original poster said "I hate it how people keep on reading manga online for stuff that are already licensed. "

And then goes on to say that it's completely ok to read Bleach and Naruto because "it takes too long to wait."

I'm just stating that hes a hypocrite. It has nothing to do with your personal choice on how you spend your money.

I'm female, and I actually don't mind that most of the material is male-oriented. I find it interesting to see male point of view of things.

Well, women aren't the only ones enjoying shoujo anime/manga.
Personally I hate when they have a stereotypical geek with glasses and a bad haircut with no social skills (or any skills at all for that matter).
Then I find it much more pleasing to look at a hot bishounen. :]
