I saw these last week, was hesitant to buy though because I hadn't heard anything about them till now. Though, I would have needed to pick up a dsi too and that wasn't in my budget so it works :)

Forgot where I got this from, but apparently the R4 doesn't work with the DSi, but there's a new R4 [R4-III *I think*] That's supposedly made for the DSi...

That was fairly quick. I still think that most people would prefer a DS Lite over a DSi since the DS Lite still supports GBA games. Not that I've played a GBA game in my DS recently, but knowing that there's the backwards compatibility is what's important.
