This is the only reason why I want a 360. I probably wouldn't get any work done as Id be playing this all day long.

That's why I bought a Japanese xbox 360 ^^ And can't wait for the next Idolmaster game released at the end of the month ^^ Also had a lot of fun with Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata (such a pleasure to play rpg with famous great seiyuus)

most games are region free but some arnt. one being idol master. only works on japanese xbox360. other way to get around it is to mod you xbox360 but you then run the risk on it console being banned when you connect to xboxlive
actually, most games are not Region free, at least not completely. For some random reason, it's all mixed up. some American games will work on Euro systems but not Japan. Some japanese games will work on American systems but not Euro. I think there's a long list floating around the internet showing what games will play one which system...

the game is a idol simulation game where you play as a young, rookie producer who works for the fictional 765 Production studio and has to work with a selection of nine prospective pop idols. in the game, his name is never given, and is decided by the player. his personality is also dependent on the player's choices, and can range from sweet and protective, to very perverted.

Too bad the special costumes are very expensive, you have to buy them online and it's like 1000 Microsoft Points per costume ! But there is sexy stuff mizugis, uniforms ... Now I'm waiting for the "new" game at the end of this month.

and just to add insult to injury, they region locked the game to Japan only!!! Scumbags, otherwise lots of ppl would import the game! There are lots of idolm@ster items in Xbox live marketplace in Japan as well, a lot of it free!!! but all the west gets are gamer icons. I've currently got Asuza as mine!

Well, I'm not a big fan of the xbox. Only games that would also be good would be like CoD, Ghost Recon, and Gears of War. Halo is too overrated >.>
There are a lot of excelent games on 360. You are only looking at the shooting games and there are plenty of other types on the console.

It's been quite a while since I last heard this song. Cute characters but not totally enticed by it. Sad to say so far I have only owned a Playstation (1), but I don't intend to get another console (was tempted by the PS3 though). I rather spend the money on a better computer and more trips to Japan!
I got an Xbox360, and bought this game and got the Xbox chipped assuming it would let me play NTSC-J games.... it didn't. I was very sad, seems to only way to play this is with a true NTSC-J console =(

The only reason you want a 360 is for Idol Master? Funny, since the only reason I wanted an 360 was for Halo 3 (and I wanted to play Symphony of the Night again, since I only borrowed the PS1 disc years ago).

It's funny how everyone over here would much rather have a 360 than a PS3 and people in Japan would much rather have a PS3 than a 360. But EVERYONE wants a Wii. I have a 360 and a Wii and I enjoy my 360 a lot. I also have a Japanese xbox live account so I can download demos from Japan except they just started region blocking the demos :(. I have the Id@lmaster as my dashboard theme too but I can't get the game since I have an American 360.
