Lots of Oppai

(Eroge(66)
Sun 2008/12/28 11:07
Eroge maker Akabee Soft has issued an official apology for sending out packages with "Oppai ga ippai" (Lots of Oppai) printed on the box for postman, mom and all to see ^^;

The Oppai set cost 15,000 yen and consisted of a load of oppai mousepads which you can see at ZakZak.

As you can imagine, many otaku are not happy about the embarrasement and the news is going all around the Japanese Otakushpere.

I remember when Kanojotoys sent me a Tenga to "review" - it had "Hobby Kit" written on the delivery slip ^^;

This is why I'm always worried when I buy "adult" things online. This would be like ordering a fleshlight and having it come in a box with sex toy written all over it.

  I got news for you, that really doesn't matter.

As a former United States Postal worker, we know what we are delivering, discreet or not.

A magazine that's being mailed in a blacked out plastic wrap, we know it's a porn. Only thing we are left guessing with, is which publication, but when you look at the address', that's not much of a mystery.

Packages could be a different story, but in most cases, that senders address is gonna give us a heads up. Fortunately I am sure a large number of carriers aren't familiar with the majority of content in J-list, nor care enough to see what goodies flood the site. Also, even with a discreet name, like I said before, your carrier still probably knows. When you have been delivering tons of these boxes for years, you kinda pick up on it.

 I disagree. I think it depends on each situation. I've ordered many normal items that arrive in packages that hardly give away any info about the contents. I mean unless you as the deliver frequent lots of adult sites and are familiar with even the most obscure seller's address, i find it hard to believe you could surmise what is inside. I bought a questionable item just a week or two ago, and the company name wouldn't give away anything.

I once encountered a postal worker who cared. He asked me about my experience with the store in question because he considered buying from it too. It wasn't any ecchi stuff though. He also told me about another URL that could be interesting regarding the stuff in question. It would certainly have been interesting if it contained any ecchi stuff because it turned out that my mom heard everything ^^;

I hate the blacked out plastic wrap thing...some of my old gaming magazines used to come in that, and the neighbors would stare at me when I went to grab my mail, since they all assumed it was porn... >.<

Why should they care about your porn? That's what boys do. See, I've always lived my life not caring what people assumed of me. So naturally, I probably come off as a little creepy... ^^; Of course, none of this was about pornographic stuff, I just live my life as if I were in a musical. People tend to think lowly about that. <.<

Exactly.
Porn. Yes. I like boobies. Normal men like boobies. You are judging me for being normal ?

I have never really understood why people judge on that sort of thing.

They'd be hearing about it for a long time. And their future mail double checked and sender looked up. Or at least, they tend to think the worst-case scenario will happen.
Luckily, my mom doesn't make much fuss about my stuff. Well, sometimes about those pillows :P

I'd hate to wonder what happens to me when I have packages shipped to my school. Since the packages get sorted and I recieve a notice to pick it up...and walk across the campus, into the building and up to the third floor, with the box in my hands like it's my baby, oh, and that's not mentioning if I run into groups of parents of senior highschoolers who are visiting campus -_-
