Anybody want to be paid for playing games all day?

Sheesh?! 900 Yen? that's it? You might as well make more coin being a Tenga cup tester.

Not bad for a part timer (especially a student), but the hours are questionable themselves... I mean, I myself am studying during this time, just as an example. I don't know about you guys, but school > part time work in terms of priorities. So if this doesn't address the typical teen to low 20 year olds, then I wonder who their target audience is :s

900 yen is about how much to manage a pizza shop in my neck of the woods, so the pay will be decent. But sadly, San Diego is not Kyoto :(

i would love to take their offer. Y900/hr is not that bad and you get to play with games before everyone else and maybe bump, talk or play with Shigeru Miyamoto ^____^

Videogame industry is not the image everyone thinks it to be. It's quite demanding, especially video game testers. Considering that they don't keep up in find bugs/glitches/errors and what not, they'll soon find themselves back on the streets looking for a job. If you look into programming and other facets of the industry, it's even worse. You're pulling whole nighters (as it is a requirement sometimes), especially near release date, just so you can polish the game for mass production. People think it's a walk in the park, but it's got a lot of stress. It's one of the reasons why I made Videogame design the 3rd choice of post secondary education on my list. Engineering for me ^_^;

That is one heck of a job. I would love to work for Nintendo. Sadly, I live in Canada. Why don't they have jobs here like in Japan...

My used to be a game tester for Activision and he told me playing game for work is nothing like playing game for fun. And plus they have to test unfinished version of the game so fun is even less -_-

One of my brother's friends tested for sony. He would play and be like; "Yup, this wall works. This one too, and thi- wait." He got the job through Monster. So if you guys wanna test games put up your resume. He got hired pretty quick, and you should be able to make a quick buck too.

900 yen/hour... although when compared to other countries is pretty good, in Tokyo/Japan in general, is pathetic.

Ok, I guess you could survive... and would be cool or a NEET or something who still lives with his parents... but IMO anyone who "should" be applying for this kind of job... *I mean it's like full frigging time... you don't even get to choose your own working hours!* could have done much better in their lives.

Anyway, that aside, I like the BGM in the video... does anyone know it..?
