Well, that's what it feels like to me at the moment... So I finally finished the Heaven's Feel Story Arc of Fate/Stay Night and like with every other good game or series I'm beginning to feel a little bit empty. The true Ending of Heaven's Feel was beautiful and had me shed a few tears of joy (the first one to question my manliness gets to know my good friends 'Combat Boots' and 'Rangers'). I'm not a Sakura fan (in fact, I'm a Rin fan) but I think this is the best of all three Story Arcs, maybe because I am actually rather fond of storys that contain a big amount of madness. It was also the best because almost every charakter had an important role to play there, unlike in the other scenarios. Without spoilering around here to much I'll say the her madness was displayed perfectly. It was really terrifying to see how she slowly lost it. Seeing the reasons why she was the way she was and why she became the way she was later made it impossible for me to hate her. Anyway, I felt a lot of warm fuzzyness from the ending and that causes my mind to be in need of even more warm fuzzyness. In order to satisfy my needs I changed my desktops' wallpaper and it is doing a great job of supplying me with warm fuzzyness, although I can't get rid of that slight feeling of jealousy. How did you feel about the different endings of the game? which one is your favourite? Is warm fuzzyness the meaning of existence? Will there be cake? How do I shoot web? Firstly, congratulations on finishing the game! It was a long one.. just finished it last week, myself! Also a Rin fan, I prefer any Rin goodness but, yes.. Heaven's Feel had a certain quality of story that perhaps UBW and Fate lacked. I like the good ending of UBW.. it felt a bit more complete, I'll just say that as it may be a spoiler otherwise. As for Heaven's feel.. the true ending was good but, I still feel a bit empty and yes.. lacking fluffiness.. but, that is my opinion. Now, I'm moving onto Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and hopefully Alice Parade ^__^

By good ending I guess you mean the true ending, right? Yeah, that one had a more real feeling to it. What I also have to say is that on the other 2 Arcs (Fate and UBW) the sex scenes didn't seem to fit in there, especially the 2nd one in the Fate Scenario. It felt like the ero scenes and the rest were written by 2 different persons. The Heaven's Feel there was a lot more sense to them with the dreams we saw after them, even though they always felt quite ridiculous to me. I guess the thing that bothered me most about them was that the characters suddenly all behaved like they had a lot of experience even if they clearly didn't. You could blame it on the genre but it still bothers me.

I also found that the second eroscene in Fate and only ero scene in UBW was not as fitting as the Heaven's Feel ones... I guess the nature of HF just makes us support Sakura and Shirou? The scenes in Fate/Stay Night are more fitting than those in Key games, I think. I feel that in certain cases they're just forced...

That's exactly what I mean, they feel forced. Now, in HF they actually made sense, if you look at all that dark magics and being possesed stuff. It's exactly what you would think those bastards in the game would do, once you get more information about them, in fact I was suspecting such things like what happened between Sakura and Shinji ever since I watched the anime (yes I watched that one before I played the game and I don't think it is that bad). And seeing Sakura and Shirou havin sex also feels more natural because they never try to make up an excuse like 'oh , we had to do it to be able to beat the enemy'. They just do what normal couples do, they lust for each other, with the fact that Sakura gains needed magical energy from it jsut being a welcome side effect. But it still feels odd... I'll say that those scenes where mainly included to sell more copies of the game. I won't complain about it, it's just a simple statement of facts.

Well finish this game a month ago, is also a rin's fan, but have to agree that HF is the best route story wise, also mainly because it's the route to tie all loose ends. Still like the rin true end best. Rin is the most beautiful there hehe. And it's a good mix between harsh reality (that can happen) and happiness. HF true end is not a reality I'd like and the good ED is too much of a miracle. As for anyone who likes harem ED out there, I'd say this "Anyone who can more than one wife can go straight to heaven, no need to be judged by God." Can't read Japanese so I can't move on to Fate/Hollow Ataraxia though. So been reading Fate/Zero on baka tsuki. Good stuffs as always.

Yeah, about Fate/zero, does anyone know where I can get that one here in Germany? Amazon.de has The F/SN manga in English but they don't have Fate/Zero. As for Fate/Hollow Atrexia, I'll defenitely try to get my hands on that one so that I can play it a s soon as mirror moon finishes the translation. The thing is that I have the feeling that I'll be all old and wrinkly by the time that happens Oo As for now I'm a bit depressed because I can't get my hands on Tsukihime after I got all worked up to download the English patch. Let's see how long we'll have to wait for the remake...

From what I know Fate/hollow ataraxia is being translated by Beast's Lair (the same that translated Kagetsu Tohya) and not mirrormoon. I don't think Fate/Zero was officialy translated in english. You may be able to buy the japanese version in Amazon.jp

Well, that won't do me any good since I won't be able to read it. But thanks for the info on F/HA, I thought that mirror moon had dips on stuff from TYPE-MOON. Now all I need is the game itself and we are all set. Too bad the shop I just found doesn't have any copies and it seems like some time will pass until they get new ones...

But, it's been stalled for sometime at chapter 5, so I am impatiently waiting for the fifth movie. I wish they continue the translation soon, as I prefer the novel though. On the other hand, Umineko is quite nice to read, too. Although me still prefers type-moon.

I loved all three routes and can't decide which one is better. All of them is special in their own way and focus os different parts of the story. This game defines the meaning of the word "EPIC". I didn't cry on HF true ending as it was a quite happy one but shed many tears (manly tears, mind you) on HF normal ending. Thata ones is very sad. Almost as sad as some of the endings of Ever 17, Figures of Happiness and Tsukihime. Wanted to play Fate/hollow ataraxia but will have to wait they finish the translation. And Rin is my favorite character too. She has her moments of coolness in all the routes!

Just to add something: My only dissapointment was the lack of a Ilya route. It's true that we got to know more about her in HF but the endings doesn't help.

An Ilya route would also defenitely come with sex scenes with Ilya. So I'm glad it never happened.

Well that's probably true. But at least she's older than Shiro and Sakura and probably older than Rin too. Hey what is Saber age when she died? I mean... from when she become king till the day of that last battle... It should have been many years... if I think about it the statment that she knows how to please men doesn't sound that farfetched anymore.

sorry but in the 1st sex scene in the Fate arc we see that she was a virgin until then. Plus, it was also said that she stopped aging the moment she pulled Exkalibarn out of the stone. Taking into account that in that age girls didn't hit puberty as soon as they do now, I doubt that she was any older than 14, most likely she was younger. I think I recall that she said that she pulled the sword at the age of 12 at some point during the fate arc or maybe we found out about during one of the many flashbacks of her past. I'm only speaking of the biological age of course.

I remember about the doesn't aging part. But in that case what would matter is not her actual age. She was a virgin but that doesn't mean she wouldn't know about that. She just would never experienced it.

Since I'm a Saber fan, Fate is my fav route. The True Ending of Unlimited Blade Works is beautiful though. That shot of Archer against the sun and smiling like he was the Shirou that wasn't disillusioned and betrayed by his own ideals was very powerful. His departure carries with it the weight that he managed to prevent one Shirou from becoming like he is in the future but that he still didn't save himself, he's doomed to repeat his own cycle since Servants don't carry new memories after they enter the Throne of Heroes. Strong stuff. Heaven's Feel I haven't done yet since it's a bit too much for me right now.

3 routes are good. bad part is you're always shirou even in what route you play. would have been better if you could play it all again but this time in somebody else's shoes (any other master or servant)
