Well, that just about says everything. A part of me (the big part) wants them to exist... but a part of me (the smaller part) realizes MS's existing also means that groups with misguided ill intentions would get a hold of them eventually too. Which is the last thing we need. Sigh. We need aliens to attack so we can unite as a planet and combine our resources.

If an otherworldly invasion were to occur right now humanity will be wiped off the planet in 6 months time.

This is how the time allocation goes:
1) 1/2 month of confusion and political secret-keeping and flustering.
2) 1 month for the first nation to announce that the threat is real.
3) 3 months for the rest of the world to catch up and formulate a plan.

And the rest is for humanity to be routed in every single engagement. Looks like as a species we're not there yet...

But it would galvanize the world population into a cohesive mindset and goal. That, or total chaos and destruction, as well as traitors to humanity offering service to the alien combatants. Still, if we survived, it would be a future as a race, not seperate nations.

So no Independence Day-style reaction? No Will Smith? No super voluntary, altruistic, devoted President of the USA that gives his life for the sake of humanity?
I'm so disappointed. XD

@Qingy, the latter was exactly what I was thinking about.

@D_Blade, in reality, Im sure that the Americans would be the ones to attack first, considering how Cowboy our Military is. Im sure we would also be the first to get wiped off the planet. You have to admit though, that someone altruistic and a powerful leader (not Bush Im talking about here) would be a good person to amalgamate our countries into one strong fighting force. Also, I would follow Will Smith into battle, or at least, I would want him on our side. Lol. Especially after that Hitchcock movie comes out.

May that be, zengar, but even if there is a real gundam, I doubt that it will look like the one from gundam evolve or Ver.Ka

...or will it?

I'm not sure where I read it, but apparently there was a reporter/novelist in Tokyo a while back that always wanted access to investigate what's in the giant, supposedly "unoccupied" spaces under the subways in Tokyo, and was never granted it. Possible place for hiding secret Gundam mobile suit weapon projects? ^^;

the gundam looks too out of place because of a lack of background..... and the guys in the foreground are obviously the cast from the "Band of Brothers" series, which makes it beyond obvious...

That is not O.Y.W version..it's Perfect Grade...look at the hydraulics at the left armpit and the the fingers as well as the head. and the chest armor. Nice job but I agree too plastic to be real.

I love the concept of the pic, sort of like a class pic with the Gundam. It's pretty well done but as a lot of people have said the mobile suit is a bit plastic-y. Some grunge might help, and maybe defocusing the upper part of the Gundam a bit, but otherwise, nice job.

I'm a bit surprised that it wasn't a GM or something... and this is just a feeling, but if the U.S.A. had built any mobile suits it would resemble the AEU Hellion more. You know, something like Mechassault...

It's a cool idea for a photoshop project, but ultimately, there's a couple of problems with this composite. First, the scale is all wrong - the image appears that the Gundam is not far from the humans in the foreground, but if you go by scale, it should be pretty far in the distance. I get no sense of distance in this image. Secondly, its lighting is all wrong. It does not appear to be lit from above (by the sun) like all the humans are.

You all do understand that the reason this photo looks like a fake. It's an attempt to discredit those who say the allied powers used human type mecha during the WWII. After all, this is still a black project.

we all know that; in the first place, no human of that era or in modern times could move a mech of the RX-78-2's type without at least having a neuro link system ike those in evangelion or, to a lesser extent, mechassault.

I love that movie. Band of Brothers was awsome as far as war movies go. It wasn't action packed mind you but it told the personal stories of the veterans. Yes That's where the image came from, Band of Brothers. And then of course someone put in the Gundam in the back there..
