7pm-ish - on the way home from trooping around Tokyo. When its crowded, I would put the helmet on the baggage rack and if I cant reach the rack I would just wear it. Was told that I shouldn't wear the helmet on the carriage for security reasons though. Nearly forgot my helmet once after leaving it on the rack once ^^; You left anything on a train before?
Don't you feel warm in all that armor and packed in a train? it would sure be uncomfortable. hehe hope to be your storm-trooping apprentice xD hmm the only ting i ever lost in a train was my wallet someone pic-pocketed me Dx
I almost forgot my school bag on the subway before...my school with my laptop and camera... Well, good thing before leaving...I remember to take it with me... If you forgot the helmet...it would be a shame...Tokyostormtrooper without helmet...
Oh wow, Rin, i live in Toronto as well. But i go to school at McMaster University! My name is Anthony =) And as for subway and other modes of transportation, thankfully i remember my stuff :)
haha... i never left my thing in train.... but if u say almost.. yeah.. i almost forgot my school bag... and sometime i almost forgot my friend...haha ~Be Kawaii~
And that's another day in the life of a storm-trooper XD
I've only ever left my wallet atop a vending machine for an entire day... I remembered it on my way home and sprinted a half mile to see if it was still there... ^^; It was. :P Nothing left on a train though--I lap my bags or just carry them.
^That resembles my story with the lost passport ^^; And once I almost forgot my laptop in a shop >.< But never left anything in trains though.
im just in love with that helmet :P
i usualy hold my things so i've never forget anything, I think...
I seldom ride trains, but I do have a habit of forgetting my phone or wallet at random places :x I usually take them out of my pocket if I'm at a table and sometimes forget where I stashed them. It's so stressful trying to find them after the fact!
I don't often use trains but I've left stuff on the bus before. My handbag (luckily someone handed it it) My purse (no one handed it in) My lunch (Was still on the bus when I was going home, so I ate it for dinner instead) My umbrella (I remembered just before I got off so I ran back for it)
I never forgot things in the train.... Then again, everything I ever carry is usually in a backpack, which is usually on my back. :P
rarely happens, but I see people leaving stuff behind on bus. It's kinda rare to see people leave stuff on train.
I left my umbrella on the train - it was a really good umbrella too. :( Solidly built, beige and dark blue. I had to resort to using a frilly red and pink one for awhile after losing it. Ever since then I always double-check as I leave. x_x
Now here's an idea for Halloween... The headless Tokyo Stormtrooper! =P Never left anything behind on public transport before. I'm sure the Japanese are honest enough for one to find something again at the lost property office. Well, that's what a lot of articles say anyway.
Somebody in my class forgot his bag with his computer in a train once. He realised as soon as he showed up at school and went to the office to call the railroad (this was 10 years ago, so no mobile phones and notebooks were quite expensive). The railroad didn't care and told him to check lost and found. Nothing about calling the crew on the train or anything. Somebody found the bag and without knowing what it contained he decided to hand it in to lost and found so my classmate got it back. We told that guy not to play lotto because he had used up all his luck. 99% of the times somebody forgets something in a train here, it's lost forever.
I've left things on the train before. Luckily, I've gotten paranoid and check my pockets every few minutes, just in case there are holes in there.
I once learned that I had a hole in my pocket because my key went though it and all the way down the leg. I then decided to move all keys and stuff to another pocket ^^ It happened on a station, so it's somewhat train related too. Being paranoid to a certain degree can be good. Being paranoid to a level where you stop doing stuff due to fears is a bad thing.
I forgot my jacket on the plane. But I work for the airline so it was easy to get it back.
Public transportation is meager out here at best. There's a train station but it's not very practical and most of the trains are freight and not passenger.
I would laugh if I saw a Storm Trooper helm sitting on a rack and no one else was around to claim it. :D
Security reasons, lol! Of, Danny is a proud supporter of the Empire!
I'd hold it... because I'm shure I'd eventually loose something there. In fact, we almost did on our trip to Japan... My aunt almost forgot some stuff she had just bought in... Sunshine City I guess. We're not used to such conveniences in Brazil... the danger of getting robbed by leaving something on a rack like that is so high, there simply isn't racks in trains. :P
So if it wasn't on your head you'd forget it? XD Everytime I'm on the bus I always check back as I stand up in case something falls out. I've never really left anything there though... but I did drop my Pikachu odometer toy a couple years ago... and been regretting it for a while now. *sigh* I miss my Pikachu.
Haven't been on a train much so can't say that I have...
Remembered when lost my bag in train few years ago!
I'm not actually in the train long enough to even use the racks. Besides, I feel more safe if I carry all my belongings instead. It's a very bad idea to do that here, especially if the train is overcrowded. One second it's their, the next it's gone with the wind! O_o
I've left alot of things on trains and other moving vehicles^^;... I've lost umbrellas and wallets etc...
Fortunately, I have yet to leave anything on a train. Then again, I rarely ride trains, but I will be more mindful the next time I do.
my drill sergeant in stormtrooper boot camp told us that we are not to part with our helmet and blaster at all times and have to hold on to them/guard them with our lives. ^^;
i havent ride on a train long enough
I guess the only thing i've lost, and it wasn't in a train, is a Sweater in Machu Picchu. The sad part is i didn't lose it, my dad did. I handed him the sweater because i was carrying a lot of stuff (a videocamera, photo camera, a tripod and a backpack). He sat somewhere and 5 minutes later he lost my sweater.
Never left anything on train before. But almost XD
Never! Not even my lightsabers! ;)
I've left my mobile phones on a bus. Yup, twice.. :D and the person who found it turned it off on both occasions. Try telling that to your wife when you get home.. and you have to do it twice! ^_^
Don't ride the train, and the only buses I've ridden I've had everything jammed into one bag and never let go of the bag.
I always left my umbrellaS...
I have yet to experience the train experience. I imagine I would forget many many things. I seem to excel at that.
Never left anything on the train before but I left all my anime purchases in MOS burger before. Not 1 minute outside the store and a Japanese customer ran after me with the purchases I left behind. Such nice people.
>You left anything on a train before? No, not yet:P Anyway, it would be not good if you forgot your helmet to the train lol
I left a whole pile of my exercise books in train before. Its a mystery why my friends who got down later didn't notice. Or rather, how can I forget such a big pile of books?! Yeah, its gone LOL
Our trains don't have racks like that here. Only smelly people.
i guess you really sweat in your costume, do you lose weight ???
Hmm, I think I did left something on train before but not remember what it is... was it an umbrella? ^^; cant remember. But I left my hp twice in a cab -_- so stupid.
accidentally left my mp3 player on a bus before chasing the bus back to the interchange to get it back *hugs mp3 player
aside from some umbrellas, i once forgot and lost my handknit hat on the subway. i prefer to think of a homeless person wearing my hat as opposed to it being in the gutter or something. it was my favorite hat and i immediate knit a new one.
a loaf of bread dissapeared before me i searched the entire carriage and eventually had to give up it was right next to my bag. weirdest thing ever.
Forgot an umbrella twice. Once I left one on the train, and once I left one on the seat at the station. I saw it as my train was pulling out, and all I could do was watch it as I rode away. Didn't bother looking for it in lost property as it was a really nice big one so it would have been kept by the new owner :(
Umbrellas are the most easy-to-lose objects I've seen ^^; I've forgotten a pair of them in Taxis ^^:
I had one stolen out of my shopping cart while grocery shopping not long ago.
Once lost my wallet in a shuttle bus :X It just slipped out of my pocket. When I was back home I was like,"Oh crap!Where the hell is my wallet?" And luckily I dropped in the shuttle bus and I just had to ask the driver to get it back. Never lost anything else though, usually stuff like my DS and umbrella are in my messenger bag,and its always with me,so fortunately never lost anything else. :D
I left a bag containing quite important stuff on a train. Someone had turned it in - pretty honest for the UK - but it was at a station quite a long way away and I had to go and get it the following day. It contained my motorcycle gloves, and it was cold, so there was no feeling in my hands when I got home...
Haven't forgotten anything on the train really, but I almost regularly forget myself... have a habit of forgetting that I need to get off at a certain stop especially if i am doing any trip longer than an hour. Lately I have been doing trips with others so me not getting off my stop or sleeping through it has happened less often now.
i dont carry anything with me mostly while traveling in trains everyday. so cant leave anything behind. but i have seen people leaving bags and suitcases behind once or twice. i leave the mad rush behind though :)
I put my bag on the rack once, the train got crowded, I got pushed far from my bag, then missed my stop trying to get my bag back and get off the train. Bag is never going on the rack again. I got pretty annoyed with people on trains in Tokyo. They will run you over without an excuse me, but as soon as you need to get by they act like they are trying to block a touch down.
No... but then there is no local mass transit available to even create such a scenario.
Nope, but I have fallen asleep on the subway in NY and almost miss my stop. Good thing I wasn't alone at the time.
The only thing i ever left on a train ticket was well, my train ticket. Luckily i wasn't traveling very far so it turned out fine.
I already forgot my trumpet.....Good thing a good soul brought it to the lost and found items xD
I left a poster behind on the train once, but I wasn't too fussed about it, just a slight feeling of awww u_u~
ow...that was close danny.... once you left your helmet, you should get a new costume....or you just get a new helmet that suitable with your costume...^^
Trains aren't very safe over here, so I don't really use it...
never been on a train
I left my English coursework on a bus ...Try explaining that to your teacher.
I usually put my satchel on the rack, even if I am seated (directly underneath it). Many trains have the heaters underneath the seat, so it would block that, and it would also take up precious standing space when the train became crowded.
Actually last summer, my family and I were on the train in Japan and my dad put his jacket up on the rack. My mom was like, "If you put it there, you're going to forget it!" And my dad was like, "Don't worry, I won't leave it." And of course, he does leave it and all of our passports and his wallet and important stuff was in the jacket so my dad was really panicking. Luckily, someone took it and brought it to the lost and found at one of the train stations and my dad was able to retrieve it.
haha, I've left my ski poles on the train (>_<) Luckily I was able to speak to the engineer and got 'em back!
