Hmm, my internal logic says that they wanted people to feel comfortable in believing it's like a theme park...
But the twisted part of it also tells me there might be a drawback... in that people might fear to be eaten by saurians and other predators; in consequence they don't enter the shop and run for their lives instead. ^^;

Last night I was watching the Chobits episode where they are looking for some open source code to show Chi how to bathe herself. They ended up downloading a fetish video of a girl standing in scalding water. Is this a real Japanese fetish? It's one I didn't see in Akiba's many DVD stores last year.
