the reason why it's expensive is because this isn't PVC, it's porcelain. the base is made of marble-like material as well. ('~')
@gordon: Well done, Mr. detective. ^^ No wonder why... This then truly is a work of art and a collector item. Still it is too bad there is no PVC version with legs. :/

It's totally worth it, if its porcelain. Good Figure btw... Only comment is, I wish they(kotobukiya) had fully made it with legs.
My my. Very cool. But it is a shame about the legs... why do they choose to make some without legs? I find it rather irretating myself... does the sculpter just get bored or do they have a good reason for leaving the legs off? lol
I find it odd too? I cant imagine that its to save on production costs ^^;
I'd have said she is a muse emerging from a pillar, but since she's armed with that dagger... That's really a shame she doesn't have legs, she's one of the best figures I've seen so far.

Probably the reason of not having the legs~: 1:The company's style,(remember how the company starts with what kind of product?) 2: The figuresmith(?) not good at making one? Anyway, I actually find it normal and would buy it , if it wasnt that expensive. That cimpany always make good figures and I like them so much~(PS:They have a figure show last year in Taiwan but sad I wasnt able to be there,Will try to ask for pictures from my friends who were there)

@ Benjamin Takeyo a bust is a figure with only the upper body. it's commonly used for super heroes figures in the US but not so commonly seen in japan.

yes D_Blade you are right, most busts stops at the torso area. since this figure already extend to her thighs, they might as well give her proper legs. ^^,
