that is so kakkoii yo!!
now i really wan to buy so wii. Just ask a shop yesterday. Its retailing at MYR 1399 here (USD430)

Just imagine VR Wii with a Bishoujo game. U can actually do "panchira" mode...way to go. Have a game when the player who does the most panchira wins.

I predict this guy is going to be rich if he goes for a patent or something to protect his idea.

Old. Had this video in my youtube favorite's for a couple months. Should have shared it with ya earlier if you like it that much. Nonetheless, it's really cool to see VR applied to the possibilities of future gaming (though it's an old technique, more common with the arcade then the home screen).

Just saw this on Penny-Arcade today, I'd bet a large part of those 2.5 million hits showed up after Tycho posted it.

Actually most of those views were after Kotaku and countless of other gaming blogs posted it ages ago.

ya.
this vid's actually kinda old haha

but honestly. imagining the possibilities of this...
first person shooters would be so much more interactive....
thinking about a time crisis scenario and actually being able to look around the corner or duck.
not like that crappy 911 first person shooter that only lets u duck due to your weight on the mat.
*roar*!

Awesome idea I must say, unfortunetly I don't own a Wii and I don't think I'll buy one in the near future.

That was awesome.
I know they had all sorts of problems with the old vr goggles because they would make people sick (it fooled the brain), but this way you're still out of the game but just getting a 3d effect out of it.
Nintendo better jump on this idea.

He gets a cookie cake for that. Hope more games do use this technology in the future cause I've been wanting something like this to be used in a mech game for years now.

Now my only concern is, it would be too tiring for me to move too much when playing my favorite RPG (Suikoden series).

So, if only there is a way to make this VR works with just minimal movements from the users.. >_<

D'oh, am I asking too much? ^^

Can't wait for China's reverse engineering technology getting its hands on this. Then we'll definitely see China's Vii packing something that looks kinda familiar...

Holy shit... This is a window for a new single player FPS game for the wii or in the Arcades... and ACTUALLY, the Wii can dive into the FPS market, b/c you know, Japanese Arcades have tons of Shooting games...

(playing house of the dead series or that new silent hill game must be fun/creepy/scary at the same times with this effect....)

Thats HOT SHIT, Id love to see that incorporated into a console next gen. That dude should sooo be proposing that to Nintendo right now, that would be the perfect "new thing" for the Wii2.
