Hobby Stock has more pics of this transformable Reijin with Karen. Is being released by Freeing who brought us the 1/4 scale Haruhi bunnies. Not sure about the quality - looks a bit plasticy in these pics. Will wait until the reviews before I decide to buy. Karens eyes look odd too. Retails for 6,800 yen. Have a look for this item on one of these recommended online dealers.

Upon second look, and seeing the retail price, I think that this is very over priced for the finished product that it is supposed to be here. I just looks like the $10 toys you can buy at "Toys B We"

Me neither, yet. The quality doesn't seem to be poor (though I do agree with Danny's assumption of the mech looking too "plasticy").

Hey Danny, I don't know which eyes you're referring too but she sure could do with some bigger pair... On the head and on the erm... chest...
think danny is referring to the real eyes (as in "me" (め) not oppai) cause i think her real eyes are weird as well. but i have to admit it does look cool the mecha and with its pilot
actually, it's quite nice, and it's in my preorder list, btw, danny, it's Otoha, not Karen, Karen is the pilot for Fuujin, not Reijin
and it's made of ABS＋PVC＋POM, dunno what POM is, but ABS sure is a strong one

It looks cool but her eyes (the ones on both left and right side of the nose -what a weird explanation-) seem a bit odd and the mecha looks a bit... dull in terms of painting.
@D_Blade, those eyes are called "Peepers"... this should also confuse things.
Well it definitely looks better than the MMS version, and much cheaper than the Haruhi bunnies. I might just be tempted to get this. The joints are a little bit more visible than I'd like it to be though.

so how do you make a mecha figure that's better than bandai's gundam line? you make a mecha and attach a cute loli to it. will not be getting this as mecha and loli are like oil and water...they don't mix very well, at least not to me.

i just started watching sky girls recently. cute lolis, mecha, fan service all in 1. i;m sold! ('~')
but i found it hard to get seeds for this series. is it unpopular? :-(
anyway this figure looks decent enough to me. will definitely be getting it if possible. but according to website, it's only 20cm tall, kinda small. :-/
