Akiba Lolicon

(Otaku(55)
Tue 2008/01/22 09:08
So what percentage of otaku do you reckon are lolicons?
This picture may help with your answer - a huge horde of otaku crowding round a few youngsters singing n dancing - more pics at Akiba Blog.
Here are some pics of the singing girls.
I think this is the first time I've seen a pic with so many otaku crowding around any one group Akiba.

During some days Chuo Dori is closed down for traffic, and you can walk in middle of the street in Akiba :) It can be very crowded on such a day.
This is probably one of those days. I'm only wondering if it's only in the weekend, I'm not sure which days exactly...

I admit being a lolicon but only in anime cause I like those cute little girls mostly because of the art some designers put into it and the way they act which never happens in reality. But in real life? C'mon gimme a break I can barely stand some of those kids.

Totally agree, I love them in 2D, but in reality, that's a nother story. ALthough I must admit, there are some cuties that definitely don't seem their age...What do they feed kids these days o_O''

You'r absolutly right. Anime loli OK, but in RL oO. They are often just pesky.

It's the same thing with this incest thing (BroterSister). Most of the day the only thing I like to do with my sister, is to give her a wide berth, otherwise I would have to punch her.

ima have to say at least 30% by not trying to be too critical but the truth is i think maybe its 70% due to all the lolicon type of products you see comming out now..

Cute or rori?
I mean, it's not that watching and taking pics of kids dancing makes people exactly lolicons.
Though having an exclusively male crowd is kinda weird... not that much in akiba though.

I'm risking my neck here, but I'd say at least part of that crowd is there wondering "wth is going on" or "hay, some cute kids dancing, let's cheer them up"... and not some other not-so-innocent thoughts. :P

As for meeself, my Hazuki, Shana, Ichigo Mashimaro, Yuki and some other figures pretty much gives it away. 2D only though. Real kids are more of a nuisanse to me than anything else... :P

id give it a good 60-70% if u define lolicon as having an interest (sexual or not, hopefully not) in any female aged 16/18 or under whether it be a real life one or an anime one.

If I find a 12 yr old girl (saaya irie for example) as being cute and pleasing to the eyes does that make me a lolikon?

there's a fine line between cute and loli but i think 60% of those people are lolicons and converted lolicons while the remaining 40% are either into cute girls

i myself is a lolicon but i'm more into 2D lolis. there are only a few cute 3D lolis lolz XDDD

where has the time gone that otaku were just addicted geeks that would stay at home all days and were a total fanboy of their intrest like games and manga/anime...
i mean since the year 2000+ even anime has seriously died in some way with a slow introduction of a fetish for young girls, look at almost ANY modern anime, there has to be at least one girl that isnt 13+...
personally untill now i never had any trouble with lolicon (what dosnt hurt anyone should be able to excist) but this comes very close to actual pedophillia...
please tell me i misinterpeted this and this isnt a group of adult guys drooling over underaged girls...

As to how much % of otaku are lolicons.. I'd say about 90-95%? ^^; I mean- having interest in those below the age of consent.. Quite a number of anime girls are below that, right? ^^;

Here is a good question: Do the Japanese own more cameras than any other people on this planet? Or maybe it should be about the people in Akiba. I swear everyone has a camera on them everywhere they go. (not counting cell phones even)

Such an interesting environment in Akiba, or anywhere performers and otaku end up gathering. I wonder how people from my town would react if they were thrown into that environment. I would love to see that!
