Suenaga sisters

(2D Girls(91)
Mon 2008/12/01 08:18
Adorable fanart of the Suenaga sisters by Lene.
Had no Internets when I was a young growing lad so I had to draw my own nekkid moe 2D girls - pretty sad eh? Will take pics of what I drew when I dig up the stuff from my mums place. Still deciding on whether to make a trip back to London or go to Hong Kong (food), Hawaii (sun, sand) or New York (the home-alone Xmas experience).
Do you or did you draw anime stuff?

Original text from lene below.
In an attempt to get rid of my art block, I decided to doodle up the Suenaga sisters. I fell in love with their designs and, well, they're way too adorable. Enjoy!

WOW, I like this one. It's the first fanart that I have seen in a while that I really like (I guess that means I'm picky).

However isn't there something odd with Mirai's right leg/hip. If you follow the leg from what you can see of it and up under the skirt (you wish :P ) until you reach the hip, you will notice that it's far to the left in the picture. It's too far left compared to the body :(
It's a minor detail compared to how well the rest of the picture worked out, but I still wanted to mention it.

I thought about that but then I thought the hip would be tilted, which would make the illusion that the legs aren't equally long. Now I tried standing like that and I can say: it is possible, but it's damn unpleasant. Don't do that :P

I never even considered trying to draw any anime related stuff. I guess I don't trust my own drawing skills.

Looks like I'm not the only one. 88% didn't draw anything, but 13% did. This means that the poll counted 101% of the votes. Please fix the poll before somebody hires this counter for figuring out the winner of the political elections XD

(ok, this rounding error isn't important as 88% really is the majority, which is enough to know)

LOL. Now 59% said yes. I guess people were busy drawing when I first saw the result XD

This could be fixed with a vote counter. Right now you don't know if 10 or 1000 people voted. I just presumed that a lot of people voted because my vote only moved 1%.

To answer the question, if it weren't for Sailor Moon, I wouldn't have gotten into drawing at all. I've been drawing since elementary school, but didn't really get into digital illustration until 9th grade or so. It's driven my life to the point where I became an art major (in addition to being an info systems major too).

great art work! I really fail at drawing, I can't seem to make anything besides completely abstract pictures. I've tried drawing humans, and anime style characters but I really don't have any talent for it whatsoever. Perhaps it's because I don't push myself to try hard enough though. I have been contemplating dragging out the barely touched sketchbook again lately.
