Fraulein Haruhi

(Figures(94)
Wed 2008/11/26 08:49
The up n coming release of bunny Haruhi from Revoltech. Face is not so bad but looks like she may be in need of bandages to patch up those slices around her joints. Poor girl.

Original text from Tachikaze below.
I like the head and the guitar. Looks like a possible get, what do you guys think? I think it's coming out on Feb 1st for 2,300 yen? Link here

Her body is all out of proportion she looks so weird. Her arms, legs and upper torso/shoulders all look too chunky for her skinny skinny torso and hips.

Even if she's cheap, that's still no excuse for such a poor sculpt imo. For the price yeah, the joints isn't too much of a problem, but to me the fact that they're obviously paid no attention to how she should be proportioned is just a big let down.

The face looks good and believeable, unlike some of the other frauleins which have rather wierd faces, but the very obvious joints on the arms and shoulders really breaks the deal for me.

But i'll definitely get maid mikuru!

Er... Face looks good? Not!

Seriously. I feel that the eyes are too far apart and the nose looks to be too flat... I always believed that Figma > Fraulien (save the eva ones and yoko).

But with 2 series competiting with the same characters, I'll go with Figma.

Not really into movable parts in figmas. There aren't a lot of poses Haruhi does that seem worth while (not like Mikuru). I prefer if the joints are hidden cuz they look hideous X_X

I'd love to get a figure of Haruhi as a bunny girl but this just isn't the one for me... Fraulein figures look rather scary. I mean looking at Haruhi's stomach area, its WAY too thin... and the shoulders remind me of some kevlar armor pads or something... just looks weird... for now, I'll just stick to Figma stuff. They're not perfect but close.

Really cheap, but I don't like Revoltechs much.
I mean, there are some really good, but it all depends on the figure and character...

Rei came out nice, probably because she's with the plug suit.

Geez, what is up with people's negative attitude against the Revoltech Fraulein series? The joints are just as badly exposed as a Figma figure. Don't see nothing weird with the proportions. My only actual concern is the quality control of the product once it's out (please, no more joints falling off).

I don't know if you're trolling, but that didn't make sense... Tell me what is biased about the comment in detail. Read more carefully this time.

I have seen a lot of negative comments on this from ToysDaily forum. Well, I am always worried about how a character should look good as an action figure with not much clothings or little details on the clothings. This worked well with the Eva suits as they have 'complicated designs' that can hide the joints alright, but for this one it is more than a challenge to hide them off.

I have very mixed feelings about the fraulen version but its the only one so far with the bunny version. Unless figma decides to make one, I just might get this.

I really love the face on this Haruhi and the price is nice too, but that body is so weird looking!

She does look kinda weird.

I already have a Haruhi Figma and I'm pretty happy with her, so I won't get this unless I have spare cash. The joints don't really bother me, but the looks do.

Plus the fact that she's in heels bugs me more. That might mean serious balancing issues, since I hardly use the stand for my poseable figures.

It's a decent product considering the price of the figure. Go to my blog for some pics of the previous fraulein figures.
