I don't think the word "dickhead" is that common to American English speakers (USA and also here in Manila) as compared Commonwealth English (English English) using countries. I think "prick" is more preferred. The same goes for "wanker" which is barely used by American English speakers. I stayed in Australia for some time and "dickhead" such a common word. You'll often hear it on TV and in the Radio.
