I think you're forgetting the fact that the most successful people on the internet are men. It's extremely rare for girls to become as successful, thus many will use their looks as a cheap (or expensive) alternative. It was never my intention to use my looks to get attention online, but who can reject recieving compliments? Despite my picture dumps in my blog, the women on the Internet whom I admire most are the ones who don't use their looks and work hard to get what they deserve (Chun ^^). The men whom I admire the most are the ones who don't blatantly rub their fame (or the fact that they're in Japan) in people's faces (Danny ^^).
