Started out as a western comic book collector and gamer, moved on to anime and then recently have been spending more time and money on Gundam related stuff, always loved 2d girls and always dig Japan related stuff. I am a little bit of everything I suppose but my collection screams Gunota.

didn't vote BTW. ^^,;

I'm a mecha otaku, robots/mechs have always been what I loved since I was a toddler. I love Gundam above all mechs.

I'm not so big on anime since I don't get obsessive and try to watch every show that's currently on.

  I started as a video game and american comics geek when i was just a young lad. Then I found Ranma, Vampire Hunter D and Ninja Scroll. SO it was all anime and games for me, didn't even realize what I was until some years ago, lol.

I still enjoy pretty much all of otakuism, but anime is what I find to be my most essential form of life.

All of the things I love are related to 2D (and 3D), whether it's bishojo figures, anime with predominately female leads (e.g., Clannad, Ikki Tousen, Da Capo, To Love-Ru, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, etc.), Hello! But, I am also a Japan otaku. Most of the time, I am out in Japan taking walks while snapping photos. Though I do the same thing in other ports too when I can (only Vietnam and Cambodia so far).

My otaku affinity is categorized into two classes: hardcore and casual.

Hardcore:
- 1/6 action figures.
- Non-scale action figures.
- Mecha.
- Guns and weapons.

Casual:
- Anime.
- Manga.
- Gunpla.
