Disney are going to open an indoor Disney Land in the Fukuoka prefecture and will be deciding the exact location next month. They aim to open the new park in 2011. Do any of you visit the Disney Land in Chiba when you are in Tokyo? Via Nishi Nippon, fake Disney Land image via Japan Probe.
No. skipped disney and went straight to Akiba.
Setsuna, I would have done that as well, unfortunately for me my wife would have none of that. gotta make the wife happy at disney first before dragging her to akiba. ^^ lol
i agree with setsuna-san straight to Akiba
I thought there was something funny on how those disney mascot looked. lol.
This Donald is quite creepy upon closer inspection. ^^; Failed cosplay?
donald has a waaay to fat belly, so that makes my face go Oo.
speaking of Donald Duck, has anyone ever wonder why he wears a towel after taking a bath in the cartoon, but never wears anything down there when he goes out in his normal clothes. ^^
Coz Donald's smart, that's why... BTW, does Minnie and Donald have human arms?! *Gasps*
hey, you're right!
marvin, maybe Donald never noticed he does not wears pants... Ah carefree minds, I kinda envy you. Or not really in that case. ^^;
*wear To return to the failed costumes: - I guess it's a Minnie partially disguised as a human. lol. - Donald, what happened to your hands? I've told you to watch out when you'd hammer nails in walls! Sheesh!
Is it me or does the mouth of fake Donald realy look like the opening of a trash can? =S
Yeah I dont think Ill be going there if I ever went to Japan. Like the above readers said: Straight to Akiba I just dont find myself doing such especially since disneyland california is just a couple of blocks away from my house anyways XD.
If anyone has been to one of the ones in the states or even in europe I assume it's pretty much the exact same
Speaking about Disneyland in Japan, there's a recent news about an accident in Tokyo Disneyland http://www.japantoday.com/jp/news/424483
Woah. "Planet crash"... 300kgs! Wonder if there is a big crater from the impact.
LOL @ big crater ^_^ I guess if a real planet's going to crash here then there will be more than just a big crater ^_^
If that ever happens, I don't think we still will be there to tell the tale.
I went to DisneySea together with the rest of my group during my School Trip last September. I managed to "accidentally" get separated from the group, and sneaked off to spend an hour in Akihabara. Too bad it was raining, and I had space constrains. I had the cash though >_> Still, I managed to spend a satisfying 20,000 yen.
geez, the last time i went to tokyo disney was like 20 years ago and its much smaller than disneyland...living here in SoCal im just a hop skip and a jump away from Disneyland...i wonder how they are gonna fit another disneyland park into an indoor format?
Indoor Disney? Sounds interesting... I mean, sounds lame... but being in Japan, could be quite the opposite. Because when you hear indoor, gives you an image of something confined and small. But then again, it's Japan! Where you can find a whole beach indoors. :P
Visited it once back in 1996 and got lost there ^^; Actually, I won't really mind visiting it again with a girlfriend or life partner. Makes the trip interesting
thanks to the "working" guys tour i go to japan disneyland and disney sea, i never go there though, so its worth it, maybe by i mean "working" it mean merchant or distributor, and my father is i took a tour, and sadly no akiba on the list :( disney sea in fall season is unforgiving! its rain all day and so damned cold!
Disneyland? been there, done that. maybe its because i didn't go when i was a little kid, i didn't exactly have the time of my life. and everything was so overpriced. reality and fantasy are often very different things, i didn't experience any "disney magic" :(
@qingy Don't be sad... Coz you DID experience "Disney Magic"~ When you returned home, your moneys dissappeared...
quingy, at least you're not the only one to have done that... Just kidding. Went to Disneyland Paris twice: The best moment I remember from the first was to spin like crazy in the teacup attractions, to the point of making my father and cousin dizzy and nauseous. The second time, my favorite thing that I did was to try all the crazy attractions first and in chain (Space Mountain, Indiana Jones backwards edition, Space Tours, Thunder Mountain, etc.) with an empty stomach. Trust me, to do allowed crazy things in a theme park is true magic. *Sparkling eyes*
looks fun.since the last disney land i ever went to in 2007 was in japan and + it was fun. but some of the restraunts foods there arent pretty delicious
The photo you showed was of a park called Shijingshan Amusement Park in CHINA. Which means they are not from Fukuoka. The decision to build the new INDOOR park will be make this month (MARCH) I believe. I live here in Fukuoka. And, yes I have been to Tokyo's Disneyland, Disneysea and I use to work for Disneyland in California. Well, if I find new info. on the new INDOOR park. I will post it on this site.
here is the site I found the Chinese park... Located on Japanprobe http://www.japanprobe.com/?p=1678
