Akiba Guide

(Otaku(48)

Once you arrive in Akiba you may want to get your bearings by approaching the help desk which has a maid sitting at it.
I'm presuming that she speaks a bit of English due to the amount of tourists in the area. What would you be asking?
"Erm, where can I buy Tenga?"
"Where can I rent those Candy Girls?"
"Need spare Gundam parts."

I'm sure the map legend has a special symbol just for maid cafes for easy spotting on the map.

Looking at the windows mobile banner behind... does it mean it will have a PDA map maybe even with GPS function for akiba?

The "I need spare Gundam parts" question made me smile a little... hehe

That's probably the questions you ask Danny HAHAHAHAHAHA, she surely must speak English with so many tourists going there.

My my my, after seeing the photo, i think the first question that i'll ask is "You alone? Wanna go for a drink afterwards?" or something. She's seriously gorgeous. If i do get to date her, then a visit to Akiba could wait... (but i'd still want her to wear that costume for the date~~~)

Ahhh, Danny, you and her were a big help today xD I forgot to print out the map leading to supermodelers and I was walkinjg around and then i saw her and remembered this post! I was like OMG!! *runs up to her* "Umm... do you speak english" and she replies with a "Yes, iIlittle..." and I asked her and she gave me a map, drew arrows leading to the location of supermodelers. Found it about 5 minutes of walking. Hehe. Oh, btw, I just bought a PG strike and a PG skygrasper to go with it. Ummm, I also bought gundam markers and a can of topcoat.... I hope I can bring that can back to Australia with me =S Are there any places where I can order topcoat online if I can't bring the can I have back to Australia?

It really happens. I saw some guy on TV who taught himself Japanese because he thought it was interesting. He travelled to Japan at age 18 and found the love of his life and didn't really want to return home. He didn't have any plans for education or job anyway so only his parents would keep him back.
