Just one of the techniques used to learn English by the Japanese. Those of you who are learning Japanese may want to try this out or read this instead. The program is called Zuiikin Engish and was first aired on Fuji TV in 1992. A bit old but member DRAGUN sent this in to remind me about it ^^; Screenshot from this page.
*man does a pose* "what are you doing?" "this is how i remember english"
it's using images to remember stuff; getting people to remember key sentences better by asscoiating them with... funny actions. it'll be a real LOOL if someone actually uses those signals to tell someone: Call the ambulance!
1) For all the navel fetish fans out there; 2) Their moves don't seem to look like the signs language; 3) Gossiping while stretching? 4) Let's do DA CHIKUN~!! (Insert random "Cuckoo" noise here)
I'd prefer play the Wii. Seriously.
You would rather play with the Wii than chant "I have a bad case of diarrhea!".. seriously? The Wii is so last week.
At least the Wii, even if played in public, does not put you in danger of being sent in some asylum. However, if you begin to injure yourself (Wiihelm), distribute jolly elbow blows and punches to the ones near you, break TVs because you didn't respect the safety rules or even go on a rampage because of a 8-in-1 package... Hmm... Doing the chicken and yelling "I have a bad case of diarrhea" is worse in my opinion.
Strange that the sponsor is a german word, Fräulein ;p And they zoom in on it quite a bit I must say ^^;
so perverted -_______-.. they not even cute
...o_o...I can't believe I watched through the whole thing.
Don't think I will use this technique...Seriously.^^ Would rather play games and read magazines to enhance my Japanese. =p
i rolled over the floor laughing myself silly at: Will my ensurence cover today? XDXDXD
LOL. They nailed the average American right on the dot. XD
Just imagine someone with a broken arm doing that dance, "Call an ambulance please"
Even if that dance is well-executed, who will understand the message? Highly improbable. *Grins*
Not only the dancing part, the singing part too :)
I think I would definetly know that if their arm was broken... that they.. want to fly? Um... want chickens? I can almost picture the chicken dance song to this.
LOL interesting
i have a bad case of diarehha today... will my insurance cover today.. thats something youll need to learn if you go to the hospital in america :P LAWL
the "Does anyone here speak japanese" would come in handy if it could be recognized. you'll only need to remember that action.
wait till you see the "i have a bad case of diarrhea" and "would you like something cold to drink" ones :/. Its weird, perverted, and kinda ugly. thats why its hilarious
"Call an ambulance, please. But in the meantime, let's do the funky chicken."
saw this a few months back. There's one on how to deal with armed robbery.
LMAO! I bet the chicken dance doesnt help at all on that one.
ROFL- If I ever see anyone doing this, I'd break out in laughter. XD It's so ugly and horrible- and it's painful to watch.
You´ll need that in USA? XD
Director: Hmm judging by the comments from dannychoo.com, we need to improve our image and cut some slacks! Fashion designer, show more skin for the outfit! Manpower officer, gravure idols please! Dance instructor, better choreographed steps! And you too NOVA English trainers! Don't run off and protest about us not paying you on time and instead get some work done! With that, i believe we can be the most successful English education program in Japan! Hahaha!
HAHAHA ZUIIKIN ENGLISH!!! that show is made of WOFL (Win + ROFL)!!! XDDD we knew about this long ago and it even became a meme within the group XDDD
Well, at least you will know what it means when people break into the chicken dance and start directing traffic in the hospital.
OMG I LOL'd at the salarymen's routine... it is priceless...
what a good way to learn English
That was made of lulz and awesome.
LOL call the ambulance please? If those people were in an English-speaking country... Those people will be the ones brought to the hospital...
