明治神宮での初詣ははじめてだった。しかし人の波が。。。。人人人人人人人！元々はストームトルーパーアーマーで行くつもりだったけど寒すぎだった。アーマーで行ったら多分警察とのトラブルは発生したでしょう。
生まれてはじめてこんなにおいしいサツマイモを食べた。
参拝後、渋谷にうろうろに。
人だらけの朝と午後の後に、静かな家に帰ってくるのうれしい。

Lol, that's a pretty funny story there Danny. I wish I could just write away my bad karma but that's what church is for here so yeah. But I do wish they did have a shelf full of gundams instead of saki... or holy water. lol

Whoa! I think a lot of the customs in Japan are really cool =), although they probably wouldn't work out very well here. If there was a wall of Sake all of it would be gone as soon as the booze-hounds come by. Cheers, And a Happy New Year!

Ya know Danny if you drank all of that sake you might just see a shelf full of Gundams...or die of alcohol poisoning...but at some point im sure the shelf o' sake would look just as good to you as a shelf o' Gundam! ^.^

They usually show this event in some few anime. though it's actually nice to see the real deal with real peeps! so crowded!

As a Shinto follower my self I enjoy seeing all of the attention the shrines are getting. Looks like a hell of a good time.

NICE PIX DANNY, Ive seen pix like this before from when my GF visited Japan....she didnt take too many tho, didnt bring me much figurines either ...... GGGRrrrrrr!! No matter, Il have to check it out myself one day......
