I don't usually buy Megami Magazine but figured I should start reading it especially when I need to do loads of research this year for Mirai-chans merchandise like figures, T-Shirts, Dakimakura etc. Well thats my excuse anyway ^^;

For those who dont know, Megami is full of 2D girls. If you have a fave 2D girl from a current anime, you can be sure to find her in megami as a poster spread - usually with her eyes all over the place. Kind of like Playboy for 2D characters I guess ^^;

This is Yoko from Guren Lagan which I have dropped for a while. The quality of some of the episodes have put me off. Some are really good but some have the distorted-faces syndrome.

Seto no Hanayome. She was cute but I dropped this on the first EP. Just looked like another Nagasarete Airantou with the rescuing-of-drowning-boy-in-ocean-by-nice-girl.

Ah Megami... its a fine magazine, problem is, in the UK it is very expensive and hard to find. I've only ever managed to get one issue in the past, but it was worth the expense for all the moe posters I got, which now reside on my ceiling... heh

About school days, its not just a fan service deal, its a dark view of young love, filled with lies and betrayal. I actually hate all 3 of the main characters in it! But its an entertaining watch, I recommend it (although it has had me yell at the screen a couple of times... heh).

The magazine is tempting but I'd rather purchase official artbook's which have high quality print. School Days I think is based on a dating sim, I recommend you pick up gurren lagann. The recent episodes topped even the best of what darker than black has aired so far.

I don't get the megami magazine monthly, because is expensive import it from here. but I buy the Megami deluxe, which have all the poster from, I think is 6 months, megami magazine in one magazine, so it's all pictures, and that really looks like a 2D playboy XD

 Wow those are some nice posters ^^;. I know my friend would really want the nanoha one if he sees it. On the side note: I cant believe you dropped Gurren Lagann. How many episodes are you behind? The only episode with bad art probably has to be episode 4. Other than that, some minor distortion is inevitable. You should start watching again, since the recent episodes have been really kickass! GUUURREN LAGANN! Spin on!

I was buying this magazine quite often before moving back to Michigan. I have a hard time finding it now. Yes, research research research, one can never do enough research! ^^

I haven't watched Seto no Hanayome.  Not sure if I would say School Days is just fanservice.  I did find it completely boring though... ^^;

Some kind Anonymous on the Internet is already generous enough to scan pages from Megami, clean em' up and post em' on Imageboards, so I don't feel it's necessary to buy Megami. Just Right Click > Save and you're done.

Haven't missed an issue since last year March. =D It's well worth the price.

Just some quick anime related comments:

-School Days is m best anime of the season, the fanservice is everywhere, yes... but the story behind it is really interesting, 'd definitely give it a try.

And in my opinion, Seto no Hanayome is 100X funnier than Airantou.

WoLF-[x]: NO U. And what is this "buy"? Compared to cluttering up my magazine cabinet and taking up a sizeable amount of physical space, I'd rather have em' in sizes of easily storable Megabytes. Also hurr, I'm not gonna waste mah precious monies buying expensive fancy glossy papers to print something that I'll get bored of in 6 months time and eventually having to repeat the cycle once more, wasting limited resources meant to purchase Siege Tanks and Battlecruisers.

Hello.
I want to know is there any where that I can find and buy Megami Magazine in Canada?
I've ordered some online, but it cast a fortune when it comes to shipping and it take forever to arrive AND the sites do not have latest magazine.
So if someone knows where I can buy these magazines in Canada(prefrably in Montreal and Calgary), please inform me.
Thank you very much. :)
