I'm not too sure what to think about that Vader/Stormtrooper pic. ^^; As far as browsers go, I use Camino on my main G4 (and all my mac laptops), Safari on my G5 WAP, and Firefox on my XP machine and Linux boxes. I also have Opera in case I need to do some browser testing, but I refuse to use IE.
i primary use Mozilla Firefox ^^ if ever there are some IE-required sites, i still use my firefox 'coz it has this IE tab plugin ^^
Filed under 'female figurines'- is this intentional? As for me, I use IE7. Most compatible with all websites and no hassles. Used to be Firefox user but was disappointed when all my favorites got erased not once but twice! I also use opera sometimes.
I wonder what it looks like the other way around! (Vader body N' cape with a stormtrooper head). I use Internet Explorer 7 these days. Very rarely is it ever cranky, and the tab feature is really nice; I don't have to open and close windows like mad anymore.
I first started using Netscape, then switched to IE for the longest time. And switched to Firefox when I found it more comfortable than using IE. Also, my, what a big head that storm trooper has. lol
You know I've never ever used any thing other then IE. But i have a buddy who swears by that mozilla!
I think that suit just made a pixel of my TFT die! :-D Opera user here, since the paid version of it. I also use IE6 for some amazing 3 sites! My online bank, blogger and to vote on your site! XD
Can't wait for the Trooper-Wannabe Vader, lol. My impression is that bloggers primarily use FF, while businesses tend to use IE... Personally, I only design for FF2 and IE7, and maybe IE6 if I feel merciful. :)
Hahaha .. funny picture .. you guys can really mix and match things ..
Yea I personally like Mozilla Firefox the best. I havent tried most of those browsers anyway.
If I'm OS X, I use Safari. If I'm on Linux, I use Konqueror (which has the rendering engine Safari was based on). If I'm using Windows, or I'm doing web development, I also use Firefox. Under no circumstances do I use Internet Explorer except to see how badly it mangles my code.
I use Opera as my main browser, with Firefox as a backup. I simply refuse to use Microsoft's viral software >:|
I used to be a FireFox user but changed when IE7 came out. I totally prefer IE7's pop-up blocker compared to FFs which is the sole reason for the change. When FFs popup blockers can come close to IE then I might go back again to FF. Btw, vader's helmet seems a tad bit too big for the stormtrooper suit. heheh :D
Firefox. :P
The picture proves that if one dun have a head that big to fit the job, one shouldn't cling on to it. Definitely firefox for me. Been using it for quite some time already.
I prefer and use Firefox were possible. Unfortunately, the majority of people I have to support use IE because it came with their OS. I've only gotten a few to switch and they don't like change. And yes, my head hurts due to me pounding against my desk in frustration after (and sometimes during) a support call

I have been using Flock as my default browser, and really enjoy it. It has a host features built in. It is based on the FF 1.5 browser.
How come theres no option for "lolifox"? (Saldly points to Firefox) well I use both lolifox (based on FF2.0 code) and Firefox 1.5 ^_^ http://lolifox.com I have also a Wallpaper I made for lolifox: http://ariaanime.wordpress.com/ariagifts/ http://beta.zooomr.com/photos/ariaanime/1021765
LOL! Its hillarious! ^_^/ Next time try to put Vader's Armor with a stormtrooper helmet? Who knows? May be Vader suddenly need a chage of face? =P
That does look funny!!! It looks like your screaming noooooooooooo!!!! As someone is destroying your whole figure collection then you just raise your hand and use force chock. LOL
funni!! lol
Opera does everything you want it to do when you start it, no need for addons and stuff like that. Besides, Opera-tan is cuter than Firefox-ko ^^ I prefer Opera.
You are now promoted to half-Vader, young stormtrooper :p I presonally prefer using Opera, but I have Lolifox and IE for web pages that doesn't support Opera
it'll be cuter if there's a real vader who's taller! imagine the countless blurbs that we can fit in? vader-wannabe: hey, who turned off the lights?! real vader: now gimme back my helmet, fool!
looks like your doing some mad air guitaring there danny! -------- the site works perfect for me now :) everything loads up as it should
I was an IE user for some time, but, in the end, I switched to Firefox. As for a taller Vader, I don't know his height, but Chad Vader, Day Shift Manager, might be taller. http://splu.net/chadvader.htm

Vader crossed with Trooper looks cool and strange .... as 4 the browser quest - I use Firefox when Im not at work, at work unfortunatley we hav 2 use IE (not sure which ver.)
i switched from firefox to LoliFox few days agoo..and i'm loving it...the ultimate web browser for the hardcore otaku!! HAHAHA!!! everyone, if want, can change to it too...the only negative point bout it is it uses quite an amount of ram...and cool suit..DArk Trooper..
I choose Firefox as my defoult web browser. It has some feature that are too nice to let them go, like the tab navigation. But most of all, is for the plug-in that can be installed on it: Dawnload manager, video downloader, ftp services... and many others! I think is an amazing web browser that have lots of potential. .:G:.
I use Crazybrowser. I also got firefox and IN7 but i dont use those. I only got those for my friends to use.
Vader head look so big on the trooper body O_O; Firefox most of the time, IE only if a particular website doesn't want to work with firefox (shakes fists)
Definitely Mozilla Firefox, hands down. Plenty of useful add-ons that go with it. My favourite is Download Helper, which allows the user to save videos from Youtube.
お久しぶりです:D これは貴重な写真ですね!転職ですか?w FFはFireFoXでしょうか?かなり使っている方が多いですね。 とても参考になりました。

I just saw this on Q-Taro.com and thought of you... http://www.yoshitoku.co.jp/starwars.html
I used Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer at first. They were very unreliable (maybe that was because of the connection -dial-up?-). As soon as I switched to Firefox, I never gave up on it. The tab function and the security features are enough to tell why it is my browser of choice. I sometimes use IE7 (to browse certain pages that Ffx can't, or to access my e-mailbox easily). Maybe I don't like IE much anymore because I was I was traumatized by bugs in the 5 and 6 versions and even if IE7 uses Ffx's interface... Anyway... To comment on your picture, I would be more eager to see what a Stormtrooper helmet would do on Darth Vader's armor. I also am sure you'd walk rather clumsily like it, given the size of Vader's helm. :p "One day I will be the Emperor!! Ha ha ha!!"
I just started using firefox too! I dumped explorer and all the Vista crap clogging up my hard drive since I still use XP Pro. I like it, very clean and smooth running!

Considering I fit the criteria of your "casual visitor" fairly well, here's my two cents (or should that be two Yen?): Opera. Still the fastest and most stable, though FireFox has more widgets. Very nice site by the way - clean and sharp, though I preferred your earlier design.

Choo-san, その写真はニューヨーク です。Darth Vader and the Imperial troops. Dozo wo kudasai. I found the art gallery link from 'WeekenderJapan.com - Japan's Quality English Magazine.' Photo exhibit in Japan of 2005: http://www.takaishiigallery.com/exhibition/2005/11_slater_bradley/
Opera ^^. Said that it's safer than firefox. and has same features as some of mozillas useful plugins and something that even those plugins won't give to you when you're using mozilla =) and you find lots of cool themes for it. How about you danny, what browser do you use? :O
didn't read the post careful enough ^^;
im not sure how firefox is useful but it does seem good. anyways im fine with the IE7 and LOL the vader head on the stormtrooper looks awsome danny XD
My "Apple fan" heart says "use Safari" but I have to admit that FF with the add-ons and stuffs is very useful. That's why I use both depending on wich site I will visit or what I will do on web. By the way, what about Shiira ? I would love to use this browser as my default browser but too much bugs to fight against the big ones :s
I currently use IE 7 together with the extension IE7pro and Proxomitron as a script filter. Though if I would still use one of the older editions of Windows I'd avoid using this browser because it's way too easy to damage/infect your system by clicking on the wrong links. On Vista it's a different story. It's not like the application itself is less buggy or more secure than IE on Windows XP SP2 (or older), but it's running with low access rights and there are only very few folders IE can write files in directly without the user's permission. So even if there is an exploit, the harm that can be done to the system without the user's consent is fairly limited (,if you use the browser's default settings and don't turn off UAC that is ^^'') That said, until a few days ago I was using Safari (Windows) and I liked it a lot, but after using it for a few days there were some oddities (bugs?) that made me stop using it. For example it suddenly didn't accept any more cookies for no reason. Well, I guess I will try it out again in a year or so and hope that the Windows version will have received a little bit of fine-tuning by then. My favorite browser on Linux is Konqueror, but Opera and Firefox aren't bad either.
I am still running under Windows® 98. My main browser is Mozilla v1.75. For some newer W-WW sites, I use Firefox v3. I have MsIE v4 on here only for testing purposes (when I use a JavaScript test for MsIE on my W-WW pages to put up an 'Alert' box telling the surfer to cease using MsIE).
I am currently using firefox 2.0 for both my PC and Laptop. The funny thing is that when I use it on the laptop its smooth running but when it comes to my desktop PC, it constantly making my PC freeze. I am considering changing the Firefox in my PC to something else. One other thing about firefox is that the memory usage/consumptions are a bit high and can sometime cause serious slow down on the whole PC.
I used to use Firefox long ago, but once people got around the pop-up blockers on it I switched to Opera and never went back. I used IE for backup on sites that don't support Opera.
I'm using Firefox 3b5. It is so much better then 2 in terms of speed and stability.
A combination of Firefox, Opera and Safari.
Firefox 2.0.0.14 :o)
I mostly use IE7 because its really pretty looking on Vista. I know thats weird but since I seem to not have any problems with IE, I might as well use it.
opera user here.easy interface,no fuss control. IE as backup only. Btw costume looks funny, prefer tropper.
I used to use IE7....but it just refuse to work without crashing on my laptop....so I now use Firefox and loves it =p
I use Firefox on my PC and Safari on my Mac - I tried to use FF on the Mac but it just did not feel quite as stable as the PC version.
I have both firefox and IE7 but dunno why me always poke the blue colored e button
In OS X: Safari, with Firefox as backup In Linux: Firefox, unless I'm in KDE (In which case I use Konqueror--same core as Safari) In Windows: Firefox
I was stubborn about staying with IE6, but eventually I had to reinstall Windows not so long after and my friend made me install Firefox and I don't regret. I was thinking about changing to Opera, but decided not to cause I'll have trouble with sectioning all my healthy sites again ^^'
I used Firefox very often and its fast comparing to IE. I rarely used IE nowadays, only for routers if i can't access to the setting.
As for me, Lolifox(firefox mod) for normal browsing, and Opera for browsing with proxy.
Vader finally learns the meaning of "good commanders lead" XD I use Safari. All because it has silver as it's color scheme. And I can access my favorites easily. No annoying toolbars blocking my vision of online manga... *rambles on*
I use Internet Explorer 7 (i think thats the new one?), and all in all, its generally ok, but sometimes, it really is appauling. I find it has most problems loading your site, and deviant art. Also, if i use the tabs too much, i have to wait about 5 minutes before i can even click anything -.-
They have IE 8 now but I don't use it. I'm sticking with Fire Fox.
Well, if Vader finds out where his spare helmet went....can you say "force choke"? Oh, and I use a combination of IE7, FF 2.0 and Safari. (Firefox most of the time though)
Opera. And the site is fuxxored for me ;) the categories or polls are sorted under the Latest News Items and i have to scroll alot on my 22' :(
that mofo looks like hes doing some serious air guitaring :P rock on baby vader!!!!
Haha, that looks awesome. And, I prefer Opera. A damn nice webbrowser.
i'll use explorer if i need to use the flashget software, now using opera. just dumped firefox recently after upgrading it to firefox 2. it gave my pc a pack of spyware, adware and virus
I gave up on IE since 1996. I used to use Netscape and then changed to Firefox. I found that the user ratio between Firefox and all IE is around half and half.
FF in general. Safari, IE6 and IE7 for QA especially with stylesheet although I also use Safari on my iphone. I hate IE6 with a passion >.> when doing web design/development with css but can't really ditch it yet since a lot of users still use it -_-
Hmm... I use Firefox 2.0, IE7 and IE6 equally because of different environments I keep on my PCs -- not all of them are capable of running a VM or two :) Answered I use Firefox as may "browser of choice" though... By the way, I heard the guy, who makes these Star Wars costumes is being sued by Lucas Films this time in Britain... Never heard of them making these things, why bother then? He did not want share, probably...
Wow, had no idea how many people use FireFox. Where the hell have I been?
firefox
firefox when at home and most of the time. unless a site is being an arse refusing firefox. I have IE for backup to use in school since the server there blocks free internet by using a proxy so IE7 has my custom settings :P btw, I was plagued by IE several years back from virueses, reg hacks, etc. that I learned nooks and crannies of computers out of desperation :| until IE gets uber-secure, ff is the way to go.
