ahh cool stuff danny when I went to Japan I got a chance to hang out with a bunch of kids from the highschools and visited Tokai University was a great time!
Wow, quite the busybody aren't you Danny? I know that Japanese people are workaholics, but don't forget that sleep is important! Nice to see everything going so well. Am dying to find out more Mirai news. Cheers
Busy, busy; but if one enjoys the work, it's good, right?
wow. danny you work hard and + popular. [.[
Think I saw that restaurant on the Travel Channel with Anthony Bourdain
Very interesting, thanks for sharing Danny ^^
Filming stuff is great, and its really addicting ;p Always new stuff to learn, and you usually meet some interesting people, and get to see some interesting stuff you wouldn't be able to normally. And is that a steadicam type thing your using? or just a monopod?
Whoo! You're really busy aren't you? ^^ Thanks for finding the time to keep us posted anyway :P Can't wait for more news of Mirai!
Quite a hectic lifestyle you have and it's really great. Always had high esteem for hard-working people (the inverse is also true, when it is not about unexpected and negative circumstances). Keep it up!
Such a hard working man, Danny! Keep it up! :)
Wow you're really busy, you start your day at 630AM and end it at 4AM.. Please don't tell me that it's always like that. Because, from your story, it seems like your sleep typically lasts only for two and a half hours.. That seems too short to me >_< Or do you sleep in the noon perhaps stealing some time to sleep during breaks or something? ^^
GANBATTE!!, WE, BLOGGER's are supporting u
Wow what a lifestyle you lead, seems quite nice, though filming until 4AM, that is some dedication. Apart from very late nights and early mornings you seem to be living the perfect lifestyle, not a boring office job.
Holy cow Danny are you human. That is an insane schedule.
The life of Tokyo seems to be happy.
And I thought my scedule for the next few days was bad. I only had to work till 1AM this morning, then be to class by 9AM and then back to work from 3:30PM-12:00AM. I am nothing compared to your hardcore schedule. But I guess it's all worth it if your having fun doing it!
Danny Choo, I can't STAND you! that's the life I want to live!! Filming idols, eating good food, filming more 美人, collecting more figures, かわいい女子高生まった見える、laughing at beleaguered salarymen, and seeing fine J girls on a daily basis. You sir, are my idol, and I shall figure out a good way to emulate you so that I may partake the goodness that is 日本。 ...since I'll be back from april, do you need an assistant? I make TV commercials and websites for a living here, and you could use someone to make sure the ladies are cute enough to film...
Wow Danny, your life sure is hectic. I'm a person who requires at least 6 hours of sleep to function properly, and even 6 hours is often now sufficient. And here you are, sleeping literally a couple of hours. You should sleep more =] I know your work is your passion, but constantly overworking your body isn't a good thing.
Quite the agenda, man. It's a wonder you have time to blog. I bet you get twitchy when you can't find stuff to do, eh? Q: You get a contract with the big 'N'? I see a Wii remote on the table there. Got an eye for detail.
Busy means good, and for your case, Danny, extremely good it seems ^^; I need to take a model after you stop being lazy >_< Keep up the good work!!!
Danny never cease to share with us how to live an exciting & fun life in Japan, despite working beyond nirmal hours. If only my work/life would be fun ;__;
Gah.... wish I could do stuff like this lol. Ofc everyone here does lol. Looks so cool... Quick random question Choo-san, How do you keep your figures dust free? What do you dust them with?
Awesome. Its really nice to see what you get up to on an average day. Thats one pretty packed day you have :P Looks like serious fun!
Whoa, no rest for the wicked eh? ^^ but seriously, don't tire yourself too much Danny, we'd like you to live up to a hundread so we can read your blog up to the next few decades. ^^
Your schedule is... Amazing. Well, it's interesting as always. Kind of enviable, though.
Real Kool Danny i love it when u write about what you get up to in tokyo. oneday i wish to go to tokyo. many thanks for your website ^_^
Please get more sleep Danny! O: Overworking yourself will make all of us REALLY SAD.
Wow Danny! I thought I was a busy person. I guess my hopes of meeting you during my next trip to Japan (scheduled for October) is probably going to be difficult.
Get yourself a good rest. Also cant wait to watch your video you are directing it. hehe
Wow... You are leading a very exciting life.. You earn money for doing something you love.. And you get to meet pretty girls all the time..hehe.. Lucky Danny... But..don't overwork yourself.. And you need to get some more sleep..
You're eather lucky or blessed Danny, with a job and life that you're going through. Filming sounds irritating to me, but good luck with it though! The girls are cute, second year high school mmmm...
you wake up pretty early danny. i see that it's already bright at 6.30am. it's still dark here in singapore.
Online income for me is now about 60% of my current income. By the end of this year it should become about 90-100% I'm not for working for anyone but myself and serving my own customers and site fans. Very awesome to see that $5300 adsense check. It lets me know I can achieve that too. There is far more to do in life than work for a company and have them dictate your life in all aspects.
...also thanks for giving us a chance to share in that. Its great to network with the head of the otaku blog sphere.
didn't notice it until now, but is that 5300USD on the adsnse check?!? holee cats I never imagine anyone could earn that much from adsense. ^^
I don't... but it would be a dream come true, today. I don't know exactly when, but in the middle of my computer science university course I just changed my mind and decided that I wanted to follow a career on journalism. And by journalism I mean more of a loose, blogish type of journalism than the strict formal one. But I still didn't go after it. I graduated in computer science and am not studying and extension on game development... which is also something I wanted to try. Anyways, I know Danny is like one in a million... maybe billion... but if I could gain half of that paycheck monthly, I think I'd live only from that. XD Though my lifestyle is kinda costly, I'm still a bachelor... :P
That's a really hectic working schedule. Hope you're able to get enough sleep. I for one would get cranky if I don't get at least 5 hours worth. I'm amazed at the cheque just for the Adsense. That's really alot of money, alot more than what many others are earning just off their monthly paycheck.
So danny ur starting to film now.. will it be showing on tele in japan. be sure to share with us
The fifth photo about the toilet, I'll go right, yea... Anyway, no fair Danny! You get to meet with so many celebrities! I wish to be you but then I would have to work until 3:30 AM so, nah...
Sounds like an awesome day.
Wow what a day..What i'd give to be in your shoe..Oh how did u manage to tell the difference between the masks at the toilet!!
You are mos def a go getter. Stay busy and have fun!
This post is very inspiring. I got 400 USD a month when I was a salary man. I have been self-employed for 7 years. Now, I earn about 1,800 USD a month from online and offline business. Thanks, Danny, for your sharing.
Wow, that's what I called a productive day...Wishing they sell Boss coffee where I live (-_-')
Damn Danny, you're working hard for sure! I wish I would be less lazy and more like you... Well, I'm still young so I hope I'll get rid of my laziness ^^
I dont make any money online as it is. I spend about an hour a day online, sometimes less, so Im not sure if it really makes sense for me to even start a webpage and do this. I think I would need to know a lot more about computers first. Too bad, I might make a lot of money doing it, but I dont know if I could find the time in between doing my job right now.
Quite a day you've described there. It surely sounds very tiring, but you seem to be enjoying it. Waking up having a goal in your mind, doing things you want and having the money to get the things you want, are something that most of us want to do in our lives. And I do wish I can have enough readership so when I get my AdSense it'll be a good income for me in the future...
is that ryoko in the last picture?
OH MY GOD, that is one crazy day but an awesome day that was. at the moment no online income, however i'm currently involved in couple of online ventures with few developers/designers as well as have a few of my own on the list. Currently have a good number of hits on my portfolio which I want to capitalize into my ongoing projects for online income. You are one of my inspiration for this, hahhahaa ^_^
Congrats on your success! Is that check for one day? With almost 2 million visitors a month, I figured you'd be making at least 5,000 a day! Good job dude!
Oh yea. You do need some new equipment. How's that audio on that shoot? Looks like you need a boom mic to get better audio and yea... a second camera.
Wow, your day sure is hectic, danny.
i don't earn extra income online since i don't have a blog that's hosted beyond free hosting ^^;;; wow! your first video directing gig. is that for a advertisement commercial? GOOD LUCK ON YOUR DIRECTING GIG ^___^
