Only 5 huh? Thats tough for me but Ill give it a try. 1. Setsuna from Mahou Sensei Negima in her maid costume with her wings out in a mid-flight/take-off pose. Her sword in one hand and her artifact in the other. 2. Signum from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha in a battle pose with interchangeable weapons. From her snake form, to sword form, to bow form. 3. Yuuko from xxxHOLiC/Tsubasa Chronicle in the outfit she wears to greet dimensional travelers. 4. Lafiel from Crest/Banner of the Stars. Either in her officers uniform with a sword by her side or in a flowing white dress like Ive seen in some of the wallpapers. 5. Fuuko from Flame of Recca with the Fuujin spirit by her side. Shes in battle stance wielding Fuujin on one hand and a partially extended Shinryo Shinto in the other. Others Ive been thinking about who didnt quite make the cut would be the Bamboo Blade girls, the Rental Magica girls, Yurine from KARAS, Touka or Kagura from Utawarerumono, Margery from Shakugan no Shana, Rosette from Chrno Crusade, Balsa from Seirei no Moribito, Lenalee from D.Gray-man, and Tokine from Kekkaishi.

Rei and Asuka from Evangelion -- though there have been many incarnations of these two in the form of garage kits and pvcs, there is a severe shortage of examples that combine reasonable pricing, quality, and an accurate depiction of the characters' personalities -- a slightly moody expression would be nice to capture the essence of these two. And considering how consumers gobble up anything eva and the new movies that are being released, putting out some new Asuka or Rei figures would be a splendid idea. Also, Ayu in her overalls and hat from the last episode of Kanon 2006 would be EXQUISITE.
-Yagami Hayate (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha) -Minase Nayuki (Kanon) -Alice Carroll (Aria) -Katsura Hinagiku (Hayate no Gotoku) -Aoyoma Motoko (Love Hina) I wrote up something more detailed on my blog, but for the most part, those are the one I'd love to see get done. Nayuki, Alice, and Motoko have had figure in the past, but they aren't that good looking compared to figures of other characters from their respective series. GSC did a great job with their Alicia figure back in the fall, so I'd love to see them continue making Aria figures.
1. Anything from the Negima manga, More specifically, Negi in either teenage mage form Asuna in one of her armor outfits or Setsuna. 2. Anything Eureka seveN, a figure of Eureka from the final episode with the white dress would be especially awesome. 3. ODIN SPHERE! This game has great characters and one of them would be awesome to have. Happoubi Jin art as a figure would be really nice. Also, maybe someting featureing OKAMA's art?

I'm not really that much into figures but I really liked the Sky Girls unpainted figure with Sonic Diver. Danny I believe you posted something about that. I've been looking for it online but have been unable to locate it. Is it even out? I'm not sure. I like the unpainted sonic diver w/pilot because it reminds me of 3D Studio Max and Maya clay/resin renders. It really shows off the model work ... now, if I can only find it.

There's a surprisingly small amount of prepaints for Lucky Star characters; the majority have been trading figures and garage kits. Kagami [Lucky Star] Konata [Lucky Star] (particularly this gem from last summer's WonFes: http://heiseidemocracy.com/wp-content/uploads/wf2007s_haruhi/45.jpg) Hinagiku [Hayate no Gotoku!] Kyou with Botan (the pig) [CLANNAD] May [Guilty Gear] It'd also be nice to have the upcoming Nendoroid Kagami/Konata be available through more distributors in the future. Only 3 Japan-only sources right now and it costs a bit to get a hold of those through proxy shopping services.

My favorite illustrators are Masaharu, mikeou, Pink Chu Chu, Carnelian, Mitha, Senomoto Hisashi, Kobuichi and Muririn! Though I doubt if other people know some of the names there... As for my five characters I'd want to have figures of, the would be (in no particular order): 1. Narukana-sama of 聖なるかな 2. Euphoria-chan of 聖なるかな 3. Mio Kifune of E×E（エグゼ） 4. Takami Rin of Lyrical Lyric 5. Hagaru Valkyr of Shirogane no Soleil (白銀のソレイユ－Successor of Wyrd) A pure eroge lineup for me. Finally fixed...I hope they can make more T2 figures especially from Shining Tears & Shining Wind. Kotobukiya did a great job on that but it doesn't go well with my 1/7 collection. Haruka bikini would be great too but I prefer Minami-ke Nendoroids.

Looking back, all the characters I'd really want figures of seem to already have decent figures made or are "old news". Well, with Aria the Origination out, maybe there might be room for more Aria figures. The only thing I could input otherwise I imagine just is this: Though I don't begrudge others their buying choices, I personally cannot, and will not, buy figures that are scantily-clad, designed to show off panties, have cast-off features, or are otherwise overtly sexually provocative. It seems that 95% of the attractive, well-made figures are either in those categories or highly stylized (like the wonderful Nendroid figures). While it's true that sex sells, it also excludes a large portion of the market, especially in the west where not only are some people more hung up on sex, but may not have to hide their hobbies and therefor may take the judgement of others into account when selecting things to display in the open (Half of my aversion to the provocative figures is my own prudity, but the other half is the even greater, far more hung-up-and-judgemental prudity of others...) I know the "prudes interested in bishoujo figures" market segment is very small compared to the normal bishoujo figure market, so I can hardly expect my desires to be met. I don't doubt that the reason most of the good figures seem to be so provocative is because the higher sales of such figures is what allows the company to retain the artistic talent. Looking forward, though, as the acceptance of otaku culture slowly grows in Japan and as these pursuits gain popularity in the west, there will be a larger market of people preferring to purchase non-provocative figures so they can practice their hobby more openly.

I have only two figures I can think of. The fist is the figure of Kaede Fuyou from the Shuffle! series 'cause the most of the others were not good. And the second is the figure of Miu Matsuoka from the Ichigo Mashimaro series, 'cause most of the figures were not alike Miu. :)
Generally anything from either Taka Tony or Kuroda Kazuya (Bugbug cover illustrator, Sora no Iro Mizu no Iro character designer) would be excellent lol. Akaga Hirotaka based designs are quite attractive as well (Queen's Blade illustrator) Balsa from Seirei no Moribito would be neat in a pretty dynamic action shot with her spear. I know this'll probably inevitably be worked on by Alter, but Lily Salvatana from Satsuriko no Jango would be awesome to round out the main heroine trio. Henrietta from Zero no Louise dressed in Louise's schoolgirl outfit from Futatsuki no Kishi, opening the top of her blouse up a little. Cast off would be nice too :D These aren't as much favorites as they are the only thing I could think of at the moment. When I think of some more I'll be sure to post them here!
Yay for the commnet post bug dix! :) As I was typing earlier this morning... Don't know if it's plausible for Goodsmile to make these figures because I don't know much about who's licensed what, but I'd like to see some 1/7 scale figures of the Xenosaga girls, Shion, MOMO, KOS-MOS and TELOS in their swimsuits. Would also like to see Chi from Chobits, Hitomi from Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball, and Winrey from Full Metal Alchemist. Winrey could be in a bathing suit or something, even though I don't remember ever being in a swimsuit in the series. Or just as good would be Winrey in work her clothes, holding a wrench in one hand and a piece of Automail in the other. :)

I'm probably making esoteric choices here. Personally, I dislike the current moe moe rage which has been sweeping Japan and the world. My first choice would be Sephilia from the manga version of Black Cat. Only Eve from Black Cat gets figure love and that's because she's a loli. Need more Sephilia. A dynamic figure of Konoe Kaoru from Gatekeepers would be great too. Some proper Shaman King figures such as Anna, Yoh and Hao would be an awesome addition for nostalgia's sake. And more Yakitate Japan figure! Besides the Tsukino which was released by GSC iirc, we can also have Sophie and Monica.
I personally would be interested in more NENDOROIDS, especially from the following series; 001 - DEATH NOTE; maybe make like a 3rd series of Nendoroids but this time include Mello, Near, Mikami, etc. I think those would sell really well. I've had many friends telling me they'd like to see GOOD SMILE make Nendoroids of those three characters. 002 - TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN; Nendoroids of Kamina, Simon, Yoko, Viral and other characters would be amazing. Those would be popular among people, too. 003 - BLEACH; I think their is a wide variety of characters from this series that can be turned into awesome, cute Nendoroids. :) As for regular figures; 004 - GUNDAM 00; I'd be interested in some nice Gundam 00 figures; especially of the Gundam Meisters. The girls would be nice too.
A huge 1/6 or 1/4 Bonta-kun with a big gun haha ^^; Or a huge Nodame with here mangoose cosplay and a perfect "magoose desu, mukyaa" performed by Ayako Kawasumi, recorded and playable by pressing a button ;) More seriously, I would love a 1/8 scale figure of Fuu Kasumi from Samurai Champloo (and why not the two other guys Mugen and Jin, but Fuu is my favorite) Then, Dita from Vandread all characters from Alice Parade (especially Alice and Neko-chan), the eroge with Itou Noizi designs Lina Inverse from Slayers. A great figure of her would be awesome. And to cut off a bit with that moe moe wave like tj_han said, I would love having a Balalaïka (Black Lagoon) figure standing next to my Revy. For now, that is what came up in my mind, and would definitely by if it would become figures ^^ Oh and also, if you can ask GSC folks to stop making those stupid "petit" nendoroids, and release normal sized Lucky Star nendoroids (or even better 1/8 figures, but IMO nendoroid is a very good format for Lucky Star, according to characters design), without limited way to purchase them...

Mh, I think I'd settle with: 1) Shana - any decent pose with her sword, I have yet to find a Shana figure + sword that I like, one that isn't completely tailored towards fanservice would be even better 2) Adilicia Ren Mathers - In her blue uniform 3) Haruka Minami - Either your suggestion or just the school uniform 4) Miria Harvent - All of her clothes are great 5) Yatsushiro Nanaka - School uniform I'd also like a figure of Akashiya Moka from Rosario to Vampire, but then again, there's a ton of figures I'd like to have.

Ack, this is a difficult for me as I don't watch anime anymore. However, I would like a new Yoko, but not with the usual cheery-moe look you often find. I'd like her to have a sly or aggressive expression on her face in a sexy, eyes-swayin mid-action pose. Cast-off? of course. I like Shunya Yamashita illustrations alot, but I seldom find that pouty, puffy lip look translating well to 3D figures. Tends to look better when they tone it down a notch. Oh, how could I forget Nanaka with Fauna lower half with Gundam arms. Sure winner there. Yo Danny, welcome back dude. I'm guessing week in Toyko will turn into week in Shanghai this time around. Lookin forward as I'm heading there in spring. Cheers buddy!
