Cockroaches are probably available for eating anywhere in the world, you just don't know where to go find them... But cockroaches don't taste that bad when cooked decently... I like to eat grasshoppers though... Es cargo/Snails aren't bad either... You guys probably honestly just need to get out more and explore and try new things if you think it's sick =_=

My animal diet consists of the following: 1. Cows 2. Pigs 3. Poultry 4. Fish 5. Select shells and crustaceans Anything outside of these is completely and absolutely off limits. Nothing anyone can say can convince me otherwise. Cockroaches........yuck.

I remember I had one in my hotel room in Tokyo one evening ;p Saw something moving in the corner of my eye, and it was gone, saw it again in the corner of my eye, and then it struck me it was an insect, probably a cockroach. So it's apparently quite normal in Japan to come across them.

There's cockroaches in Texas. I'll be getting a glass of water at night, and I see a cockroach crawl out of one of my cups. It doesn't really bother me, since I usually wash out any cup/plate before I use it.

none over here in the UK as you said Danny, but there are alot in asia. last time I was in pakistan, the football worldcup was on. while watching a match my brother ended up decapiating a cockroach only to see it still moving. after that a few came out of the drain while he was taking ashower. it sounded as if he was in a kung-fu movie from all the noise he was making trying to beat a few cockraoches down the drain. Usually I see 1 or 2 cockroaches per year in our apartment, especially in spring or autumn. When it gets colder outside they want to get inside. Disgusting to say the least! Never saw a single one in Germany. How one can eat them is way beyond me! I thought they transfer some sicknesses?!

I thought cockroaches carries disease? Anyways, I've only ever seen one cockroach, and that was outside in summer. It's just too cold for them to flourish quite as much in Canada, though they do like our buildings. Apparently cockroaches can only exist outside of tropical areas because of our buildings.
