I love Heroes! Last 2 episodes really picked up the lost steam from the slow start of this season, but I still loved every episode I've watched. Always something to talk about the next day at work. It really makes you wonder who the villain is this season. They're not completely clear because the writing for all the characters are so well done. I hope the writers' strike don't affect this show too much. =/
Heroes is a good watch..shame that it looks like Dec 3 might be the season finale (only 11 episodes rather then 24). I can Fully recommend the new BSG, it should be high on your to watch list. BSG is one of the better sfifi shows out there. If you have a chance have a look at Eureka (2 seasons so far), I enjoyed watching that, I think it was voted best new SfiFi channel show of 2006.
been watching heros almost when it started, i also highly recommend this show, it even has japanese for anime lovers ^_^
I enjoyed the first season, but was hesitant to pick up the second when I discovered that they want to keep it "ongoing". I suppose I've been spoiled by Japanese shows that are willing to wrap up a story and let another one be told, instead only having shows that continue to run well past the times they should have ended (Japan has had those, but they aren't all that's on TV). I was wanting to pick up season 2, but I'm not sure what effect the writer's strike has had other than just cutting the season short. I'm waiting to hear what people say after it picks back up before I watch any more.
Well Heroes... what can I say. I never got into this show, I watched the first four episodes and was quite disappointed so stopped watching it. I still can't see what the hype is about.
I've watched quite alot of the episodes of season 1 and I must say it didn't really amuse me. I prefer series like Prison Break and 24.
aside from heroes and prison break, i would also recommend BSG, lost, house, and 24

BSG is awesome... but slow at the beginning. It's like the old one, but for adults... dark as space.
Heroes series in Indonesia (esp, my campus) were big hit for the 1st season, but lately when the 2nd season comes, I already not hearing my friends chit chat about it anymore, Personally I stop watching it at 3rd episode on 1st season, don't know the reason, I just don't like it ^^ not enough girls to satisfied my eyes maybe ^^
@ Oshift Really? Comeon man, think about it. It's an "Amerikan" TV series... This country still can't decide if there really are UFOs and who killed JFK. *sigh* I think we like our media tainted.
Save the cheerleader! Save the world!
Ah, BSG definitely. Having enjoyed the original as a kid too, I was skeptical at first. But after watching the 3-hour mini-series starter, I was hooked. With lots of nice details and tributes to the original... Grittier. Sexier. Can't beat veteran actors like Edward James Olmos. As a side note, Season 4 is coming 2008, while the BSG "Razor" feature off-shoot about Battlestar Pegasus and its tie-in to BSG Season 2 is coming this month (November). Enjoy. May the Lords of Kobol be with you, lol.
Don't watch heroes, but my sister love it. Need to borrow her dvd to see what's it all about...
It's a good Sci-Fi show.. I wonder what is Adam going to do with Peter. Now I can't really see whos the good guy whos the bad guy...
I 'LOL'ed so hard on the parody that my stomach hurts. wonder if that counts as a Zeroes ability as well. ^^ I got to watch the first season on DVD after the first season aired, loved the series. and although I've been hearing lots of people complain about second season, I found it equally as entertaining as the first one. btw I heard somewhere that they might cut the season short with an alternative ending because of the writer's strike in hollywood.
Season 2 started very bad...just like Season 1 but episode 7 was very nice and I hope things will start getting better.
I love Heroes and Prison Break. Loved the story of Takezo Kensei and who he was. Can't wait for the next episode of both shows.
Astrana, wait til you see Hio and Adam goes head to head, Adam "ando neve told you what happened to your father" Hiro "he told me enough, he told me you killed him" Adam "No Hiro, I am your father" ^^ I'm pretty sure it was Adam who killed Kaito Nakamura, not unless it was Peter or Claire, I mean who else could have survive falling off a New York highrise building.
Prison Break is one of the greatest shows I have seen in a long time. It is so incredibly intense. The newest season here has been pretty good, up to par with the first season. I was a little dissapointed with the second season of Prison Break though. I thought it was lacking the intensity of the first. But it did have a lot to live up to. You definitely need to see the first season Danny. Especially if you are liking this new season. Oh yeah... and Heroes is pretty damn good too!
Watching it, but slowly. Didn't finish the first season yet. On other series, as much as lots of people dropped by now and I've heard several people saying they "hate" it, I'm still following Lost... more closely than Heroes even. And I'm currently beginning the 3rd season of 24. That plus anime plus reading blogs everyday = time for nothing else. :P And I do mean it... before that I'd watch all recent movies. Now I think it's been almost 2 years I don't watch anything new. Apart from like 5 movies I watched in the movies...
currently catching Heroes as they're being shown in the US. I must say, Season 2 beats Season 1.
saw most of season 1, only saw the first few episodes of season 2 ^^;
I saw all season 1. And now in season 2, I never miss an episode :P. I am also currently watching "Chuck" which is on before Heroes on NBC. Kind of silly but I like it.
Heroes is definitely on my watch list. I've been watching since the first episode of season one and I'm always pumped up for the next episode!
Just started watching it last week when they finally show in on TV over here in Singapore. I think the plot is pretty interesting after watching 2 episodes. For me, the only 2 TV series that I watch are CSI and Prison Break.
i been watching this show since it started and I love it. I only watch it online now hehehe on www.nbc.com you can watch all the episodes for free. I rather do that then go to a tv on a certain time frame.
早く日本でも放送してくれ〜!
Heroes is amazing. Cheesy? Yes. But great entertainment. Things are finally making some sense after this weeks episode. The only thing still up in the air is that Adam guy.
Great show, purchased season one on DVD even. However, the integrity of season 2 might be compromised due to the US writer's strike and the retooling of episode 12 as a possible season finale.

Heroes is great. Most of the episodes of the new Battlestar Galactica are good, with a few exceptions. I will warn you, however, that the series is really bleak much of the time, especially the miniseries that kicks it off. Another amazing American series is Firefly, a series that ran for only 14 episodes back in 2002. Had enough of a following to get a theatrical film as a follow up in 2005, though. It's my personal favourite of the bunch.
Dr. Saresh is dreamy.
Been watching this from the beginning, and got others to watch it, too. I love Hiro. He's the best character, I think. He has the best powers, but maybe next to Peter. Prison Break's something I've been watching, too. I just love conspiracies. I also watch Avatar, the Last Airbender. It's in anime form. Great stuff.

Heroes is one show I'm watching. You're missing out if you're missing 'Pushing Daisies'.
danny... my recommendations are: 1. 24 2. heroes 3. house 4. journeyman 5. battlestar galactica
Dropped season 2. Too much bullshit love story on all fronts.
i hate the cliff hangers in Heroes..makes me wanna watch the next episode despite tons of workloads..
These are my two favorite dramas Battlestar Galactica It just gets better and better, the soundtrack is amazing, the CGI is movie quality, the plots are engrossing, and the acting is top notch. Start from the mini series which is included in the season 1 dvd box set. House: The Sherlock Homes of medicine, he is such a bastard, you can't say no. Give it a shot.
I don't have cable, so I'd have to rent the DVDs or something.
It's an old show, but The X-Files is good. House M.D. (played by Hugh Laurie with American accent!) is another great show. It's smart and funny if you can stand the medical terms.
hmmm, only shows that i really follow dilligently are heroes and house. good plots all around i'd say.
I haven't been watching because I wasn't really interested in it the first season but now that Kristen Bell is on it I've been watching her episodes. Kristen Bell rules, that is all.
The episode where Adam Monroe was revealed was probably my favorite episode all second season! Quite possibly the best TV series I've seen in a while. My brother watches the new Battlestar Galactica and recommends it, but I don't have cable where I live anymore.
I love Heroes and Prison Break so much. I recommend Jericho if you haven't seen it. It's about post-apocalyptic America after a terrorist nuclear attack. Out for only a season though.
Give Grey's Anatomy a shot, I hated it until i gave it a chance (3 episodes +), my girlfriend no has me hooked on it. I'd recommend you watch it form the beginning like Battlestar Galactica, otherwise it is very hard to follow. It's a good show, unlike House it's more sex and scandal and friendship plot base. Where as House is more science and more character centric but the two shows make for a great night of medical TV and I love them both.
Every Tuesday, I watch Bones and House. They are very good. I like Heroes too, but I only saw few episodes and stopped because I missed beginning. I ll watch Heroes once they do marathon or I get DVD.
I watch Heroes, I think the Adam thing this year is kind of Lame. A really good show is Supernatural, Season 3 just started and Season 2 was really great!
Funny Danny should post a topic about Heroes just when there is breaking news about Hayden Panettiere (cheerleader), and her little dolphin saving stunt a little while back. Apparently Japanese authorities have issued a warrant for her arrest. Guess she better steer clear of Japan for awhile. Any bounty hunters willing to bring her in? I'm sure they'll pay you handsomely in figures and manga if you prefer.

I just finished season one tonight via Netflix. It's the first American TV series I've watched in a long time. I'm so used to the more compact structure of anime that I got bogged down. It's a very good series, but for all its great moments (and it had plenty) I found I had little patience for the pacing. The characters would interact over and over and I got the impression they were doing it only because there was an hour to fill. How many DL/Nikki/Jessica/Mikah scenes did the characters need before they figured it out? How many Isaac/Peter/Simone scenes? Characters were introduced and then completely ignored (Zack, Invisible guy, Parkman's wife, Claire's real mom) the moment they were no longer useful. And I thought serial killers went out with the 90's. Cliche. That said, I loved the season one finale. But I have not the desire or patience for season two.
BS-G alwayskinda liked the cylons...but now they look awesome!!! And boomer.....grrr!!! I recommend....has a more adult touch now in comparison with the old days...love the stuff
Heroes is excellent, and season 2 is starting to shape up after a fairly slow start... Also what should be recommended is Dexter. It's a dark tale that's like a cross between CSI and American Gothic. The main character is a blood spatter analysis criminologist. And a serial killer. Except, he's a serial killer that was raised by a cop, who noticed his urges to kill, and encouraged him only to kill the bad guys that the cops don't/can't catch through legitimate means. Sounds contrived, but it's really quite compelling ^_^
Heroes are definitely on my watch-list. I am downloading Season 1 off the net :-)
