That is just disgusting. Thankfully I already ate dinner.
my cast iron stomach now feels even hungrier! Better get some lunch. Probably won't be trying that anytime soon tho...
ugh.... that looks terrible...
thanks but no thanks.
Uh, I'll pass...
have you tired it danny? it looks like it could give you an indigestion lolz XDDD
Does regular 2minute noodles Constitute as the Lamen factor? And why does Even Egg seem Sweet in Anime'?
That person Holding the Chopstix needs a better tatse in Food...oh and Possibly a manicure 2...just a suggestion,Use it/Don't use it?
Ramen with ice cream ? that's unique... has anyone tried it?

Eat balance meals, work out at least once a week and stay happy. Ramen isn't always on your menu...
COFFEE Ramen! Wow they have to bring that here! I don't have Ramen all that often, primarily because most of my family hates Japanese food, so I only go with friends once or twice a month... when I do go, I often order ramen though. (It's hideously expensive here as well though. :'()
I thought I liked Ramen until I went to Japan. I always thought it smelt a little like wet dog...
1st:is that just an ordinary ice cream cone(like in McD) and ordinary ramen (shoyu or else)put together? 2nd:or the ramen and ice cream have somthing special? if it the 1st, might try it as soon i buyed a McD ice cream and ramen^^
I am hungry now :(
ehh are you sure that ice cream was intentional?
that ice cream in ramen does look pretty radical, but just looks nasty. You never know it might taste amazing.
I eat ramen every few months or so, but what the hell ice cream -_-
wow, amazing, Ice Cream with Ramen... have chance must try it..
Ice Cream? Blerrh.
Never ate Ramen before. But indeed would love to try that, looks weird, but maybe its yummy!
Ramen is probably my fav food! I LOVE ramen, with passion!!!! Sometime I eat ice-cream AFTER I eat my ramen, but not WITH my ramen. I always wonder will I get bored if I eat ramen everyday... agrrr... probably not... haha...
Why have i never thought of this before... this sounds like a good combination... (so says the man who frequently has fries dipped in ice cream)...
i love ramen, but i in "diet mode" so no ramen for a few months U_U
I love ramen...if only I could have eat at least a few times a week. it's too expensive around here and you just can't find it just about anywhere like in japan.
so danny, how does this "newtype" ramen tastes? LOL
Man this food kinda reminds me of an episode of "Gaki No Tsukai". In which Hamada and his crazy fellows cook some Japanese dishes with unusual ingredients.... and the result was totally sick.
Wow ice cream.......So what does it taste like? Salty and sugary sweet at the same time? Just thinking of that makes my stomach churn >_
I've had ice cream ramen before! It was really bizarre, but it tasted so good. It's a really good combo. Apparently you need the right kind of ice cream though, or it just tastes strange.
I tended to eat instant noodles (including ramen and udon) very frequently in the past. I gave up on it and eat some in very exceptional cases (mainly when I don't have anything else to eat). My alternative? Pasta (think fibers!). Ice cream ramen? Seems a bit disgusting to the eye, but why not? I wouldn't try though, thank you. I prefer to put jasmine rice, chopped salad and maybe some meat (chicken bologna for some novelty, anyone?) in my soups (both western and eastern styles... miso soup is royally good with (only) rice added, trust me), it adds a lot of consistency and some more flavor. Ice cream in ramen makes me remember of Orihime Inoue (Bleach, yup), who tends to be fond of odd mixtures (red bean paste in particular).
I eat Ramen quite often....but without the ice cream, yoghurt, coffee.....
ice cream + ramen ...japans anwer to fried Mars Bars :P Ive never had ramen just big hunky udon, which i love
Not much eye appeal but if it tastes good then it doesn't matter to me. I don't eat ramen very often, not exactly a balanced meal ^^. But I do like to eat it when I go out.
you know i might actually try ice cream ramen (just to say i did) oooh i so wish i had some "good" ramen and not this umm $0.10 stuff :( ... ramen looks really good from what iv seen of it in japan)
lovetanime, you have to choose the right brand of instant noodles to fully enjoy them. Some examples include: Sapporo Ichiban, Maruchan (Never tried), Nissin noodles (Cup Noodles being one of my favorites) and Neogiri (this one is Korean). Oh and I forgot to mention that pasta has become my staple food (though it is part of a healthy diet poor in fat and rich in fibers). ;)
yeh but what about things like nori(that what it is?) and eggs and whatever the rest of that good looking stuff is... anyway umm i wont some expensive ramen restraunt lol with really amazing ramen... umm with all those things which i cant identify in them lol also umm i really cant cook myself... umm (one of my only failure but im trying to get better) but yeh ... lol were am i supposed to get ramen this good looking in the US (good looking cause i havent got a shot at tasting it yet) oh by the way i have tried may kinds of ramen but none of them ever had these types of things in them (oh and well they are probably also americanized versions... just like chinese food is lol) anyway i havent found the rules for this site lol were might they be? ahh lol im right in the middle of writing a paper right now :P its a short story for literature class right now hmm ill stop im getting way off topic :P
Hmmm... that ice cream ramen looks pretty interesting, interesting enough to try for the least. I remembered my previous trips to Japan and what not, the ramen in Japan just seems to set the standards, and the standards in America fail for the most part...
気持ち悪い
I like ramen a lot and love to try some more flavours. Went to the ramen museum in Yokohama, but only ate at one of the 9 ramen shops there. But is it me, or what, but every time I wanted to eat ramen, I couldn't find a ramen shop... (same goes for a kare raisu shop). Therefore, the more of these I know, the better for next time ;p There is a food chain called Wagamama, that has a shop in Antwerp here, and I like going there to eat some ramen or something else. It's the only place that has many Japanese-type of food, while other Japanese restaurants usually have only certain specialties, while Wagamama has also more of the Japanese "fastfood" :)
... and I thought I had bizarre ideas or notions for combinations of food... like bluecheese with banana on Nilla Wafers or something for example... Dang it maybe I'm not so radical and non-conforming after all...:(
I've only had instant noodles. Never had ramen like that and I know there has to be some place around my neck of the woods that provides that. And just to get it out of the way; I'm cuckoo for cocoa ramen. :-)
I love ramen I love ice cream I'm not sure they will play nicely together in my stomach...
Gross. The only ramen I've ever had is of the instant variety, sadly. There's a place near me, though. I've been meaning to check it out.
Looks kinda weird, specially when you just throw the ice creams with cones directly into the ramen, but I'd try that. You never know how good it gets until you taste it. I tasted great combinations on sushis here in Brazil also... japanese chefs likes to mix traditional sushi ingredients with local stuff, and you do have great results. But it's hard to beat a real traditional japanese food set. Even more when it's the real traditional local stuff, like the ones they serve on Onsens.
uhh that looks revolting, i wonder how could anyone eat that.=_=""
won't it bust your teeth for eating cold and hot at the same time?
The Ramen on top looks good.. and with icecream?.. eh, why not? Im willing to try most things once. My best friends eats his french fries with mayo and ketchup. I guess theres weirder things to eat. Has to taste better than Salmon roe.
Ice Cream Ramen is almost as good as Pizza Pops dipped in Honey Mustard. ^_^ Yes...I'm strange. But it tastes good, that's all that matters.
Blah! Ice cream noodles must taste horrible, sweet flavoures in combination with salt flavoures usualy end up in horror. Besides that I hate soft ice cream cones (they need to be crunchy), let alone ice cream cones that got soften in Ramen...Yuck! =_= BTW I hardly eat Ramen, besides fake noodles in packages, Ramen is not so easy to get over here. =(
i would eat ramen a lot more often if i have actual japanese style ramen, packaged instant noodles just don't come anywhere close to the real thing. i remember a ramen place in Tokyo, Hirai (where i lived) and it was Tonkatsu flavor, IT WAS DELICIOUS, i will never forget it.
Ice cream Ramen, now thats innovation, a rather weird one. However my favorite is still the Spicy Ramen.
Our studio is in Ogikubo, which I heard is famous for its Ramen stores. We have Jiro, 18 Ban, Nogata Hope, and of course Harukiya, which serves an astonishing 1350 yen Wanton Mee. Wanton !!
Ramen float? LOL!
I'm not too big on ramen but whenever we go to a restaurant that serves delicious ones, I order that instead of my usual donburi. I don't think I'll try eating ice cream ramen anytime soon though..
last time i had roman was a few months ago. It was good, but never something like one with ice cream cones. Now that is very interesting.
i just ate eel ramen today.. the ice cream ramen makes me feel uncomfortable just when i saw it here..=.=
I've never had Ramen before...
i went to shibuya once, me and my friends went to this ramen restraunt. some ramen cost over 1,000 yen from what i remember of. it was good. the only thing that i didnt like about it was that it looked tooo oily, but it was still good even though i promised myself to never eat japanese ramen again and eat korean ramen instead
