今週のバリバリには、ブひなやねぎまの漫画家赤松健の特集があった。彼のオフィスや豪邸を見ることが出来、すげえかわいいコスプレ奥さんも。

I can see now where his inspiration came from. Love Hina was one of the first few anime/manga that draw me into the wonderful anime/manga world. Good times :)

I love it when famous people where useless when young, how hard they worked. Well me as being young still(teens), I just needa keep on trying!

Life is great, actually. In a few short weeks I will be moving out of my home into the College World, and it is a time I have long waited for.

Finally it is my chance to gain back lost ground that 4 years of High School took away from me! Friends, Hobbies and my development into a further education. It's great to be able to complete my hobbies and still have the ability to continue on through College.

I take everyday now as a blessing: I realized that one cannot spend their time laying around for weeks doing nothing. Life has to be spent wisely and carefully to get the full experience out of it. Instead of hating the world: I look for things in it that are beautiful (nature).

I learned that individuality comes at a dire price when you are around those that devour it, but you are not necessarily associating with them. Being surrounded by people with a common goal in mind is something I need to move on with. Where I go, people go there because they want to, not because they have to.

This is a great show, wish I could see it regularly. Programs like this help to give me that little extra push that I need from time to time.

Right now, I'm definitely in the so-so range. I'm making so many changes and I feel a little uncertain about where I stand. Then, I have moved myself outside of that comfortable and safe zone. Making maters worst I've always been an impatient person. I expect everything as of yesterday. To compound the situation I feel I'm getting a late start in regards to my age.

Don't really see myself reaching the great point. I always feel I have a lot more to do and can improve on the present. Many have told me I need to learn to be satisfied, maybe they are right.

Very true, it is important to set goals -both short and long term- and to remain focused. Chances are when you think your problems are bad, you are still in a good position. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

I'm a lucky man, I have a strong and beautiful woman by my side. Life is definitely a journey best shared with someone you love and who loves you in return.

That was the second time I read your post about time running out, and it is something that runs through my mind quite often. Primarily because I'm worried I won't end up as successful as I had imagined when I was younger. The way society has set itself up over the years has driven me to notice the pressure that we all experience. It's true not many people my age really stop to think about it, but it's sad to realize that only the people who have "sufficient" brain power and financial backing are able to make it anywhere near what society considers "big" or "successful". Otherwise it wouldn't be equal opportunity? ^^;

OK, first and foremost...Thanks for the videos. I'm a huge Akamatsu fan and now will probably have to post those vids to my blog as well (And yes, his wife is very cute - Lucky, lucky man).

Now I only wish I knew Japanese so I could understand what's being said.

OK, I have to ask. The two guys in suits, are they a regular part of the show? Becasue if I'm not mistaken, the larger of the two is Himura Yuuki (who I recognize as Daruma from Akihabara@Deep). Which for me (A big A@D Fan as well) is just plain cool ^_^

As for life, I suppose I could see it as great, but without direction. It's like I have a general feeling of what I would like to do, but with no focus to be able to set a goal. Shows like this do help to drive me onward. But I lack the ability to determine ultimately where I'll end up.

It doesn't matter how much money you get. If you hate your job, your life will suck even if you make hundreds of thousands a year.

I remember seeing a list of job satisfaction index: Photographers were the happiest with their jobs and doctors, yes doctors, were one of the least happy bunch.

PS, that mansion has some killer views of Shinjuku.

wow, I knew Love Hina and Negima were successful but not that successful. I do know that Negima is the most popular manga in the UK at the moment. Ken Akamatsu is a lucky man, wealthy, cosplay wife. SUPREME!
Masashi Kishimoto should be on that show. I don't know how rich he is but he never used to be good at what he does and now Naruto is one of the worlds biggest manga franchises.

Well, he deserves his current position, wealth and all the rest.

I feel lucky in life somehow. I don't have to struggle everyday for survival and I have the opportunity to succeed in my career.
I also have the chance to have support and no one to block me.

I always say to myself that there is better but also much worse than me. So I rarely complain. I may go for a little depression from time to time but I grit my teeth and go on.
I try not to complain and see things on the positive side, so I never lose hope.

I forgot to say that I feel that Ken Akamatsu seems really humble and honest.
I've never liked Occidental celebrities (especially those from Hollywood) because they tend to boast about their money, house, car and everything pricey and useless... They don't put the focus on hard work or personal struggle.
The last idea is important for youths as they always look for a role model. If the one they idolize is way too materialistic, there is nothing good to learn about.

I hope you see my point.

I think its great that you are reminding younger people of something they never think about. The future. My parents really drove home the importance of investing and saving money, how to invest wisely. Because of this, I am much better off then a lot of people my age. I also know that when I am older I will have an easier life because I am working so hard now. Its been tough, and there are always obsticles, but without them you never fully appreciate victory. Life is too short to waste it on mediocrity.
