Theses something insanely wrong with the look of her eyes or her face in general but mainly her eyes...... *shivers* Shes like that little doll from X-Files episode that wouldnt die. even when they microwaved her she still came back...... Shes got that same dead glassy stare.....
My bad....Sorry I just 'ready' that its a gurl with an anime head on... I stand bywhat I said, its still looks very unatural even for an anime character, whoever made it also got the shade of green/emerald wrong IMO... but as I am a bit upmyself at times.... we cannot forget this moment here which Danny has donated to us.... Neither real-life women nor plastic figures seem strange, but combining the two just looks weird. Probably due to the contrast between living flesh and stiff inanimate matter; reminds me of people who have had too much botox and plastic surgery done on their faces.
Man.. those masks creeps me out. I remember the first time that i saw a cosplayer wearing this kind of mask. Nightmares.
Kigurumi(sp?)?. I'd rather take pics with cosplayers instead(good ones that is). Oh well, different ppl have different preference.

Lol, I actually thought by looking at the first picture with thumbnails and the other pictures, that I was looking at another of those Candy Girl-kind of puppets. But then it struck me that the hands looked too real and the bowling alley confused me. Then it struck me, that it's a real model wearing a mask... How silly :P Anyway, I don't find it very interesting to go to such a photo shoot, as the face doesn't move anyway ;p So there's not much to it. And the I don't like this particular face :)
I'm sorry but those masks are just creepy to me.
I shudder from that mask. I'd like it when the person I'm trying to photoshoot actually has a facial expression instead of that cold, looming, expressionless doll-like face.

LOL its exactly what I wanted to talk about today. But since you posted it first I have to think of something else to write about. Personally I think it borders on cool versus freaky. Its a good thing if you want to parade on the street and don't want friends and family to recognise you. But I'd rather just put on a stromtrooper outfit ya =P

Creepy. I'd prefer someone going for simple cosplay, even something plain -please no cross-dressing at least-, not someone going for a costume and a huuuuuuuuge mask. Of course with it you resemble more to the chosen character, but the proportion is lost... And the absence of blinking or other face expression is scary. It also kinda gives a Super Deformed look to it. Now to complete the picture, giant gloves and giant shoes... No, forget that. Too many cons for on pro. The sentence has been pronounced. Guilty... You know, this would provide a great opportunity for girls that have good bodies, but a horrible mug to make some money ... um... "modeling". Everything Japan does it good...except for this. Maid cafes ok...maids sleeping over at your place ok...but this is just plain weird... I can't really say much more then that...
This is insanity. I suppose I'm glad that market pressures can give rise to such things, but I think time might be better spent on improving surgery technique, instead of wasting it on mere masks.

I find this REALLY creepy. I mean, okay. I do have a problem with many girl's faces, but I think there are a lot who have nice faces, and practically every face is better than that creepy mask, in my opinion... But, well, whoever likes it... I just wonder what the Girls think about it.

Ah thats too scary! Its not that I find the mask disturbing, but staring at the plastic face and then seeing human flesh! This objectifies women more than regular idols, because all she is, is a body. I wonder, if they will have plastic surgery in the future to make you look like an anime character.. That girl can't be a regular model, so she has to wear a mask?!
id still go for a 3d body with a 3d face. this is just too much, and looking at a cold blank stare isn't my idea of a good time.
