Announcing Nendoroid Mirai...

I wish I was announcing Mirai-chans figure but end of year is going to be more realistic given the amount of projects in my hands at the moment.

If the first figure was to be a Nendoroid version then most of the design work is already done thanks to regular reader and 3D character modeller Andrew Hickinbottom who resides in Birmingham UK.
Being a spiffy wizard at what he does, Andy knocked this most cutesome Nendoroid Mirai up in just a few days using 3D Studio Max. I used to play around with 3D Studio Max too (some of my work back in 2002 here) but never got round to modeling characters.

These will go in Mirai's page as soon as I'm done with Featured Feeds EX (mid next week).
Thank you Andy!

Whaaa?? Thats rubbish! ^_^/

I really hope you can get this 'figure-ified' - seeing 3d CG models made into physical models is a really wierd and gratifying experience. Wish I could get my bunny / office girl characters made into figures.

Wow...that is just soo cute. ^^ It'd be nice if we could get a figure of her.

Just some constructive criticism...the left part of her hair seems a bit way off. Still, she is sooo cute! ^^

OMG they are amazing! Nice work Andy. And if Mirai was a Nendroid that would be soo awesome! I could get one to sit right next to me on my desk ^_^

I actually need to learn how to use 3D studio max, so this summer i shall try and get into it ^_^

These nendoroids are a nice addition too the great work Azami-san has already done. Would make a great figure collection.

Very kawaii ^-^

Although I love working with 3DStudio Max, I keep my anime stuff in CorelDraw (even though it's not the best program to do it, it's easier in a way because it's vector/line based)

I like her surprised expression one. So funny.

Would be nice if she was made into a figure indeed.

Tight use of poly's AndyH. The expressions are a plus as well. Nice work.

And it is a cool surprise to see a CGTalk member over here.

I never knew you messed around with modeling ships. Nice older pieces Danny. What made you stray away from modeling as a hobby?
