I really didn't care for Ikkitousen at all. It was a fairly boring fan-service anime, IMO. There are better fan-service animes out there if you're looking for that kind of thing.
See, I don't like figues like this (or like the last post, although her weapons are really cool). I like figures more like Kureha. She's not peverted, but still gorgeous and sexy. I think being subtle is better than full on... >_>
I have to agree with you, Kureha is an amazing figure. She is sexy in a more subtle way. Just wish I didn't wait to long, because it looks like I can't get her anymore.
i don't mind ecchi figures, but they can't just be ecchi. i never thought about getting this one, Kanu is way better in her black goth dress. hope they make a pvc of that. yao ming.
Lol it seems so far that I'm only one who enjoyed Ikkitousen anime and now I'm watching Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny even better than the first much way better. Strangely Ikkitousen figures are the most expensive figures in the market that I've ever seen, mostly because their made of cold cast.
Ikkitousen was based on the same history that the Romance of the Three Kingdoms game series was based on. It's just stuck in a modern day high school. It's actually pretty cool if you are into the game. ( or Chinese history )

Heh, yet another nice looking Hakufu. When it comes down to it, i'm more of a Mou-chan & Kanu type of guy, though when Hakufu looks that good --- you just can't say no.
it's amazing how easily clothing get torns apart in the anime :D, anyway i prefer the gothic dress Kanu over Sonsaku
Didn't like ikkitousen that much. I watched it only because of Kanu Unchou only to find out she didn't had much screentime. >_>
Hmm its not only limited to pantsu shots but its almost bordering on the explicit sexual activities genre. Personally I dun think its that good a series unless you are really into fanservice. I just cannot understand why Hakufu always ends up having her clothes shredded up.
I'd rank Ikkitousen at average. althought I'd have to admit I found the premise for the story interesting. however truth be told, the reason I got to watch it was that I thought I was watching Tenjo Tenge. yup, slap me on the face and call me dumdum. ^^
She does look very cute but its ruined by her excessive unrealistic chest sculpt, lets hope the next one doesnt have dumbells for eyes. I bought the series on dvd a while back, not that good but worth a look has some humour to the echiiness. But the new series Ikkitousen dragon destiny has better production quality than the original.
If you really enjoy echiness, pantsu shots in practically every fight, and a little history on the side then Ikkitousen is for you. I got pretty bored watching it after a while, nothing really that interesting until the really big fights happen.

Haven't watched the series. May pick it up later after all my finals are over. The figure looks nice, but doesn't attract me that much. I just checked the release calender and found that Kureha is actually being released in September...I just wasted alot of time looking for a site that was open for pre-order. Oh man...
The first IKKI TOUSEN anime was good to me. I love fan service ^^ The new Dragon Destiny anime is much more better! We learn more about characters and their background, and I think it is a very great and interresting way to relate the Three Kingdoms period. I am a huge fan of both IKKI TOUSEN and Dragon Destiny, and I'll still defend these animes :) And I'll buy this Hakufu figurine, for sure xD
Ive seen bits of Ikkitousen, and im not that keen on what ive seen. The animation is mostly static and pretty bad, and it seems like its only pulling point is the panchira-fest! Agent Aika, on the other hand, is very well animated, has a decent-ish plot AND contains pantsu! A much better anime methinks. I wonder what the new 'virgin missions' series is like.... By the way danny - whats with the 'orz'?
BTW danny - the Haruhi Max Factory figure you were after? They are selling it in that shop round the back of the radio kaikan building in Akiba (the one with all the glass cabinets) for about 13,500 yen. Im sure you could afford that! I wouldve gotten it, but mine should be coming in the 3rd allocation in june. Ive had it on pre-order for months and months!
I really like this figure, she's really cute ! But I've really been disappointed by the only one figure that I bought from Griffon Enterprises ; I hope this one will be as good as it seems on those pics...

Ikkitousen is all fan service. It also destroys the foundation to one of my most favorite stories, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Not the anime, the anime was silly. I'd rather see more plot than see more panties/bras.
Ikkitousen's story gets better if you stick with it. Things get deadlier in the second season. :)

I luv Hakufu~ :3 the figs too naked for me tho lol.. about the series, I watched the 1st season so I could watch the 2nd season.. 2nd season is pretty decent 1st was crap. It's almost like a softcore hentai series :p
I didn't like the way they painted her eyes... her real eyes, those other eyes are fine.
Zhao Yun aka Choun from Ikkitousen is hot. The rest are just average.

ikkitousen has a good storyline. wish they would actually build more on it instead of the concentration on the fan service part =P neways, i digress... i still watch it, lol... nice figure of sonsaku there. a bit risque but compared to most ikkitousen figures, this is considered dressed up. wel. unless u remove the cast offs =P

Ikkitousen was fun. REAL fun. Ain't seen the first one, actually, but I saw and loved Dragon Destiny (DD...*snickers*).
As TOTALLY HOTHOTHOT as that Hakufu is, I'm still more of a Ryoumo Shimei or a Ryofu Housen kinda guy...but my all-time favorite has gotta be Kan-u Unchou. Now that chick was HOT.
I'd say pick it up...the series(The second one, anyway) and that figure.
But the manga("Battle Vixens") is AWESOME.
Ikkitousen, better the manga that the anime, no doubt. In Occident, few people knows the Romance of Three Kingdoms, and for many is thanks for the Dinasty Warriors series, me including... :)

I like the figure but the rest of the series i don't think there as good as this one.
A friend of mine tried to get me to watch Ikki Tousen. I didn't like it at all. Not because of that excessive amount of panty shots but purely because I found the storyline wanting. If it had a better story behind it, then maybe. But I love that majority of the character designs and figures.
