looks AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!! did you know any friends there besides the people in this site who are in germany
congrats Danny! BTW, are you using your lappy on writing this article Danny? If so, then, that means that your lappy's problem wasn't really that big? BTW2, Nice pics as usual.
If I remember correctly, he bought an Air Book recently. So it wouldn't surprise me if he had both of them along on the trip and just couldn't use the Air Book for the conference since all his info was on the other? This is my guess, anyway. Danny-san, you looked great in the conference pictures. The posture and gesturing looked exceptionally relaxed and normal, so as long as you didn't throw up right on the stage, I bet you did just fine.
The Air Book was for Hector though. But Hector is/was in Hamburg with Danny, so the chances are big that Danny did hijack poor Hectors Air Book for posting. Well ... you could also use a iPod touch for posting text, but uploading pictures... nope not really. ^^v
Ah... possibly.. haha.. I forgot that Hector had that Macbook air... thnks guys..hahah
Yes - using hectors MBA ^^;
It's nice to hear that everything went fine with the presentation ^^, except for the macbook incident >_< Good Job!!! Nice photos as usual ^^ I only went to Germany once when I was a kid. I went to Frankfurt though ^^; Looking forward to the video d>_<b
Hamburg looks really nice, nice sky wide spaces... I'm so ENVIOUS! Singapore's just too godd@mned small!
But that's why it's quick to travel to anywhere within Singapore, no? ^^
Yea, it's small until everything is at your doorstep. But time to time, you get the feeling that you're constrained .
nice weather for taking a walk..
Nice Pics, which reminds me *looks out of the window* it´s sunny weather! Congratulations, you really found someone Cosplaying (yeah the red witch) in Germany - btw: it´s advertisement for a theme park. Enjoy your time in here!
I don't live in Germany but I live really close to it :) Love to go there as it's almost the same as my own country, especially the parts near the border. The people are very friendly and everything is well-organised :) Stay away from the weisswurst though!
You won't find that many weißwursts north of the weißwurstäquator (= white sausage equator) ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weißwurstäquator
Ouh sounds like your video card said baibii. :( Nice pics, Haruhi with shrooms... hmm! I have only been a few times to Hamburg, once for a Go Tournament (Mausefalle / Micetrap) and a few times work related, beh. ^^ Never got to enjoy the city for real, i didn't think Hamburg would have that kind of nice places... there now it takes someone from Japan to show me a german town... *headdesk* Thanks. ;)
You said it! I always wanted to go to Hamburg once at least but never had the time to do so and it's so far away from Schweinfurt where I live^^
Lol, i once passed by Schweinfurt once on the Autobahn. ^^v Made me remember Katzenfurt... funny names somehow. =) I don't remember where i was headed though mhhh... somewere south maybe... if you drive a lot because of work you tend to forget or mix up things sooner or later, at least me. ^^;
ROFL, thats also just like me! I will forget or mix up a lot of things in an instant if I don't pay attention.^^ But I do remember that I was in Cologne last year but only for a short time because I went to the German Table Tennis Centre in Duesseldorf. Nice city though. ;-)
Well, Düsseldorf is quiet something, at least the Immermann Street. ;) 14th June - Japan Day ... thats gona be my next visit there.
I'd love to go there, too, but unfortunately I haven't got the time and money :-( Beeing a poor student is quite annoying...
I noticed that theres an "H" sign at picture 5 .. Haruhi immediately came to mind..wow .. she really did overtake the world XD .. (hentai comes to mind too...) @topic noo! never been anywhere abroad T_T
In this case "H" stands for "Bushaltestelle" = "bus stop", so probably no "Ecchi" around on this daytime...
it's such a beautiful city. everyone looks so relax. ^^;
such a nice city , and clean too
Wow! It look nice and sunny over there. Everything seems to have an historic look to it. Very un-Tokyo. Bring on the Germany post; it's a nice change of pace. More importantly enjoy the rest of your trip Danny. BTW... while I'm sure those mushrooms were good, some of them look like poo nuggets.
The place looks so beautiful, I will put it on my travel list.. ^^ It seems that Haruhi is also enjoying the trip too.. XD
Wow. More than 50% have been there? Are you guys rich or what? I wish I can travel but it's prohibitively expensive. The budget-hit would literally kill me.
congratulations Danny, time for some well deserved relaxation. btw just wondering, what are you using to post since you don't have your macbook anymore? certainly not the ipod touch? ^^; I noticed that the Iron Man poster there in Germany includes Tony Stark's car. ^^; those images looks lovely. looks like you're having a great time there Danny. ^^
Sadly, I'm the only one in the family that has never left this country for any reason. I'd love to be able to visit Japan and Ireland someday. But I really cannot afford to.
Hamburg looks beautiful! The place looks relaxing. I don't mind if you post more of Germany, Danny. I know that some members of Dannychoo.com live over there.
Superb pictures, it looks like you're having a great time there. So, enjoy! (I heard I went to Germany once, but I was only three back then *sighs*)
//(I heard I went to Germany once,...// I started to read that and thought, "what, were you kidnapped and they took you to Germany?" lol! I have a friend visiting Austria, does that count?
nope, it doesn't :P
Nice pictures and Kaiserwetter (basically sunny weather) there Danny. I went to Duesseldorf few years ago but the weather wasn't so great for the entire trip! No great outdoor photos as a result...
looks nice. Ive wanted to go to germany for a while, and im going down to spend a week in berlin at the end of the month. Looks quite clean, and the weather looks nice. Do many people speak english there? I dont know much german (only bits and bobs from school) and im wondering if i could get by ok...
I'm sure you'll be fine with English ^^
iron man won't be out in japan till september!
Due to dubbing process?
Hamburg looks great! It's quite different from other cities I've been so far, like how traditional buildings are preserved but they still look they belong to their places in this modern era. From all cities I have been so far, Sydney and Singapore are perhaps the closest to Hamburg, but only in terms of the neat organization of the city. Didn't get the chance to see traditional buildings in Sydney and Singapore. ^^
there are traditional buildings in sydney. isn't town hall one ^^? used to live there myself. but yeah, sydney is pretty organised. roads in the city are all grid structured. you can never get lost.
Nice photos, great weather and Haruhi at the end, priceless.
you're so lucky :( if you ever come to NY let me know! :D
Pictures are awesome like always!
I was born in germany <:o
Me too.
Yup been to Germany, not to Hamburg though, more on the western borders, Cologne and area Berlin I would like to visit though, looking forward to see the pictures from there.
I went there alot a couple of years ago, my father works there, haven't had much time to tag along recently though. Mostly spent my time in Neumünster and Hamburg
It looks like your having fun!!! Never been to Germany, but it looks like a nice place to visit...
Have been there a few times during the recent days. Though it was only to change trains on my way to and back from university. ^^ Most of the year the weather is by far not as good as in the recent days.
Sucks your mac book died man... But hey, I think it's always good to take in Germany a bit while you can and ease on the Japanese stuff. It's like I can't understand people who play video games on vacation.
beautiful, cities in Germany are very nice. Hopefully I will get to travel there. Have a great time there Danny.
Hamburg looks like a chill place. Real tranquil. The food could be better though. Berlin probably has better restaurants.
Haruhi looks ado
