can we have more of that "english language learning material" please.
Woah that Legend Gundam looks awesome! ^^
damn wish i have that sculpting machine thing and i'll make my own figs
I vote for Eroge since Figures and anime have many votes. Danny, if you have more time, please also visit anime and eroge production. I like to see more figures, animes and eroges production.
Oh~ I just love office/studio tours! Thanks a lot Danny ^o^
Looks like you're starting something really cool Danny. You should go to see Sunrise, Gonzo or Bones :D And it'd be nice to see the Gundam office, though I dunno if thats even doable.
Danny, Awesome Awesome videos. I believe you can still put iMovie HD on your Mac if you have the iLife install discs, btw. I recommend Final Cut Express though if you want to have more control in your video editing. I'm working with Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro while editing a DVD project for a local Theatre Group. LOTS of stuff involved, but I'm learning a lot, too. Say, you wouldn't need a Video Editor or media Specialist would ya? ;-) On the English books, those books were hilarious. When I visited Japan in October of last year, I was presented with an English Colloquialisms book and asked to help explain some of the phrases. There were more than a dozen that made no sense in English. It was an eye opening experience to say the least.
More! lol
that 'english language learning material', relevant to my interest. LOL.. Anyway, any offices tour would be interesting to me. But 'How di i maek anime' would interest me most
I'd love to see a nice tour of how they work inside an eroge company. Especially the voice acting part =P
I heard that eroge seiyuu do it secretly
Yay!! Part 2!! ^^ lol, that english material is just beyond words, and looks like they even have the audio tutorial that comes with the CD XD Great video as usual, looking forward to future tour videos!! ^^
Posted these before, but yeah, for the sake of easy linking~ http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/5017/educationbookla8.jpg http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/8882/educationbook2am6.jpg The red hair loli is awesome
i would never jack off at work but since i work at a grocery store next to 2 Universities and 1 university foundation its pretty hard not to especially when the majority are international students from Asian countries love working in Sydney City
Yay thanks for the episode 2! xD For me any tour would be good as long as it's a japanese related otaku stuffs company.. xD It would be interesting to see...
Awesome video as usual. (b・∀・)b More of this to the people. And in my opinion, figure companies are most interesting.
i like what you are doing with the figures, looks good.thanks for the office tours post
LOL Mari-Tan. Yes, I have that book together with the listening CDs. If anyone is interested in getting that book, use Rapidsearch (Google it) and then use the keyword 'Mari-Tan'. It might be around the third result.
Hell yeah Mari-tan! On a side note, would love to see you visit an Eroge studio ^^;
wtf with the english vocab learnt...but i guess the easiest way to learn a new language is to learn its foul words first.. speaking of that danny, you should have an otaku dictionary function where you can archive all the otaku words that you have on your site - make it easy reference for us and oh..about the coverage - a coverage on the dutch wife would be great..muakakakakak
OMFG... english teaching books simply blew my mind. The dolphin care products with tissues were hilarious too. Keep up the good work Danny, your videos are fantastic :). BTW I listen to Utada latest album too much, I could swore that in the last few seconds of the video I heard 虹色バス but probably it's only my imagination and poor hearing....
Nice video tour once again! I like very much. Please keep it up!! I've put in my vote for manga studio, just because manga is my first love. Although I'd seriously be interested in any of the others really. Eroge company would be really interesting and so would an anime studio or a games company.
I would love to see anime production in action~ ^^ really cant wait for figma saber~ X3
LOL, I need to have that English learning book!
a tour of bandai will be cool. gundams! ^^;
Exactly. Gundam tour would be hilarious
AWSOME OFFICE TOUR VIDEO AGAIN DANNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wut!! English lernning? indeed it make me feel WTF are they teaching
ROFL.. I searched so hard for that english lesson book when I was in Japan... but they were all out of stock. T_T Anyways, I'm saving the tour to watch later. Kinda in a hurry right now. Subscribe to Danny's channel people!
japanese people are learning some hardcore engrish, make them shit tiffany cufflinks =/ and that haruhi figma looks awesome
Gundam + nice lady's = Makes real good shit!!!!11~`! I wanna work here :P
Buying a figure is like getting a pet; it was made with TLC and you have to give it TLC. Those MS figures are simply amazing. I'm pretty sure the tissue box just happened to be besides the magazines; at least, that's what I've deluded myself into thinking. XD I wish I could have been taught English the magazine way. What kind of magazine teaches someone to square their @55 away(is it even physically possible XD) and sh!+ Tiffany Cuff Links(whatever they are)?
u sounded like some indian..
You do KNOW that Danny is a limey Brit, right? Also, I think he grew up with and Indian for some time.
Too bad you can only choose one option, so I had to pick Eroge...and I bet Danny will be very happy visiting those companies.
I want to vote for Gunpla but u did not include the choice there! So i vote for Anime! I want to see how the Senyuu in action! And also those anime artist!
Nobody mentioned that the Tiffany cufflinks quote and the quotes user Triplekia provides are from the war movie Full Metal Jacket?
Nice tour again. Didn't understand a word Aki-san said but who needs to anyway? Figma Saber looks awesome; now that's an action figure! Also, never leave me alone in a room with that many figures on display....
well i would love to see some manga stuff too but i don't know figures are getting my attention. THERE'S A FIGURE UP THERE @ THE SHOW ROOM CARRYING GROCERIES MAN I WAS ABOUT TO BUY IT (I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY SOB SOB)
Can't vote since I would like everything covered.
Interesting episode! I really want the Saber Figma!!! (@@.
oh wow... its so hard to vote cuz i just luv them all... thanks for the tour danny... you're the best...
LOL you should try doing a Cockney accent next time. It'd be hilarious. X3 Thank you so much for filming and putting up the videos!!!! :DDD
Ahh! The 2nd part of the GSC tour was amazing. I'm really loving these informative tours, you learn so much off of them. Oh, and LOL @ the Enlish for Otaku book. I want that book. Haha. As for the poll goes, that's pretty hard to decide as office tour vids for most of the choices your making us pick would be amazing to see! Now I'm anxiously awaiting the next vid! Thank you so much again, Danny! :D
I like max's custom legend gundam wish you took a closer look at it, anyhow Danny you should watch gordon ramseys fword.
I guess they need those health materials to keep their sanity while sculpting those complex figures ^^; I wonder if Figma series so far a great success. I wish I can somehow get Figma Haruhi without getting the game somehow...
manga please! heehee :P and funny english phrases LOL thanks again Danny!
Thanks for the vid! I can't wait for figma Saber now (and the next vid). :(
the figma saber looks great, gonna need to purchase that later for my collexshun. Thanks for the tour
Danny, the Slash zaku phantom showed at 6:01 in the film, is that one of those MSIA or an actual model kit? if it's a kit, could you ask how they got that slash lance? Because all I've seen so far is a no grade 1/144 version, which did not have such a lance, unless something happened in my absence :P
I'd actually be most interested in office tours of internet businesses like Amazon. That or anime companies. BONES or Ghibli would own so hard.
"... start shitting me Tiffany cuff links" is from Full Metal Jacket: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeX5HSBFooI 5:30 into the video.
That book! I've seen pictures of it and such- but where can I get it online? and what is it called? >.< I will reverse-learn it (English to Japanese) =D, and get my nihongo friends back >O
Nice Saber.... Woah Danny you are swearing very surprising.....lol of how to swear while looking at moe pics...I want that book!!!
does the presence of mari-tan books hint at good smile working on some kind of mari-tan figures? that would be entirely awesome. mari-tan nendoroids...
just love the engrish!
roflmfao Luvins on the vocabs. >.<
Good gravy that was excellent. Anyone find a lead on where to purchase either of those books? I'm sure we'd all like to get our hands on a copy xD
LOL not about the gsc office tour, but I watched it on youtube and saw a related vid of you dancin in stormtrooper gear in Shibuya at night. What a great vid lol
@youconfusemysoul i got mine through j-list but i'm not sure i see it on their site anymore.
Once again... YOUR A KUCKY GUY DANNY!!! These office tous helps us the viewers and fans alike understand what happens in the figure industry. THX for the vid. Still, it would be cool to visit these offices... Danny, hook us up with tours to GSC!!!
Max's Legend Gundam is looking awesome, and that "english language learning material" is funny XD . Can't wait for another ,,Office Tour" .
the vocabulary i really lol. XD nice video and nice tour :D
wow! cool GSC office tour danny ^___^ Aki-san needs some subs =3 but at least your post described what he is saying and that's informative ^^ i wonder what kind of material that they've used for their prototype and the type of plastics that they use ^^ so that's how long they've developed the figma series ^^
btw...lol @Maritan book XDDD do they actually use that or is it just for lolz XDDD
Anime company Danny! And me suggests to start with J.C. Staffs as they are producing considerably popular blabla <insert all logical reasons here>. No really it's because I'm currently watching Shakugan no Shana II. ^^ Would love to see how they produce Shakugan no Shana..
Say... if you were to visit Kyoto... Then KyoAni is the must-visit holy spot ^^ J.C. Staff seems good too. We want to see Shana animated! Maybe Leaf(eroge) would be great as well. How about Google Japan? (If there is)
Me wants that Saber Figma XD
