Didn't manage to bring you stats last month due to the logs disappearing with the server crash. Octobers logs are fine - the figures are looking just fine too ^o^
October served just under 10 million page views (9,951,897) to an average of 56,610 unique daily users (highest day was October 17 at 101,991 unique users). The monthly total users amounted to a total of 1.7 million visitors (1,754,930).

dannychoo.com has gone from being in the top 80,000 websites in the world to being in the top 13,000 within a year. Goal is to get in the worlds top 5000 by Q2 2008.

While the Alexa rankings are not completely accurate, they do provide a good overview of how a site is doing when compared to others. Unfortunately, Alexa only monitor the top level domain so if you have a blah.wordpress.com, alexa will only tell you what the rank is for wordpress.com.

If you are interested in increasing the Alexa rank for your site, you should install the Alexa Toolbar available in the Alexa site for Firefox or IE. Every time you access your own site, you will be contributing to your rank. The toolbar shows the rank of the site that you are currently visiting which allows you not only to gage how well a site is doing, but also if you can trust them - a site calling itself "ebay" with a really bad Alexa rank is likely to be a fishing site (for example).

Most of the folks who I know that work in the internet or own a blog have the toolbar installed - you can see it in my browser when I take snapshots from time to time ^^;
Referrers who drove thousands of visitors to the site were... And many many many thanks to everybody else and my Featured Feed partners who drove traffic to the site.

For November, you should expect more video fun around Tokyo, a new site launch and hopefully the figure.fm renewal. All sites that I launch from now on will work with a dannychoo.com account.

Oh, and a big hello goes out to the new folks who have just become a dannychoo.com reader - I notice a few thousand of you who arrived from boingboing yesterday too. Welcome to the community ^o^

Nice! Also, the latest Shibuya Trooper Dance will probably boost the number for November.

Please hire me when you start your own billion dollar corporation Danny!

I really like this blog cause it is pretty interesting. (even though it seems it is corrupting me more and more toward otaku-ness)

Considering the amount of visitors, How/How much do you pay to keep this site up?

It's good to see the site is going well, Danny. Too bad I'm gonna catch up and whoop your behind in visits. :P

...though it might take awhile. >.>

My eventual goal is for my site to have an Alexa rank of 1 and a Page Rank of 10. If you knew me well you'd know that I'll make it happen somehow. ;)

Some people call me eccentric and unreasonable...they might be right--but what truly successful person isn't at least a little eccentric?

My short term goal is to, within a year, move to Japan and meet you in person along with a few other important internet people like Steve Chen.

I do confess that I check out DannyChoo.com more than once a day. Congratulations Danny. There's a saying in the Philippines whenever someone is doing well, people would tell them: "more power to you". I guess it just means hope things would still go even better for you. so more power to you Danny Choo. ^^
btw I was wondering if you got the email I sent a few days ago.

I also check here 1 or 2 times a day. I have a firefox that I keep open with about 15 tabs of sites I regularly check, so it's easy ^^;

Gonna have a look at that alexa toolbar again, because for some reason it didn't work...

Danny, Its long time no see you.
I hope that you do remember me. I met you at Shibuya cross Tower. You'd worked at Amazon, and I was working at Sky Perfect TV. At first time we met, its located at bathroom 26floor that building. I've lost your business card,and I wanted to contact you of all time. I couldn't find it and today, I've searched at google 'Danny Choo', then, finally I found it! If you still remember me, please contact and have a lunch or dinner sometime. I know your situation is big change if compare with 5-6years ago. I hope that you still have my memory...
I'm not mixi user, so I've left massage on this.
