Lo and behold a maid torso computer case! Yours for a laughable 35,800 yen. Akibablog via Windbell.

i imagine the air flow of this case is very poor and doesn't look like theres too much case space to work with either...lol

Hmm, they should at last put a Chii Power Button... lol

I prefer the old simple case with 4 slots. But to think about it, all this stuff on this pc can burn easily right? (problably it´s a plastic body with normal clothes)

Well it IS mini-itx. The board is meant for to fit in small places--it's only 17cm x 17cm!

Thats just wierd and pointless!

Besides, wouldnt it make more sense to put all the cables and disk drives under the skirt? They would be hidden from view, and it would give the otaku something to have nosebleeds about...

Just the torso? I mean...if it was the whole body, sure. But just the torso...that' just not "satisfying" enough.

Add some blood to that, and it might sell to the people into GURO stuff.
Other than that, it's kinda pointless.
Unless you could buy other maid parts as periferals or something...

Not really a torso though is it? Since it's the waist down, dunno the english word for it but.. pelvic region? *roll eyes*

Anyway, that is just weird, imagine the look on peoples faces when they come to visit you. Just thinking about that would turn me into a hikkikomori(mispelled?).

And from a technical point of view, what about airflow and upgradeability, hmm?

*shakes head*

Seeing how I react to girls when it comes to body contact(I am somewhat clueless when it comes to cross gender communications, thus I tend to panic when it comes to that), I might even have trouble going near the cpu just to switch the computer on.

But overall, its pretty innovative

Dismembered Robo-Maid!

My feelings on that? It's just like if Kusanagi Makoto did her work by deactivating a cyborg/sentinel robot...

Pretty useless IMO. Only obsessed people will spend a whopping 35.800 Yen on this case. It doesn't look too functional as well.

@ super rats: LOL! That's a good one!

So I guess I can turn my computer in to a maids torso shaped computer and show them once and for all...

Wedding Cake any one ???

If you have ever read the novelization of "THX-1138," you'd feel a lot more creeped out about this. I don't remember if they showed this bit in the movie, it's been a long time since I watched it. Dismembered female torso is right up there with 6-year-old photobooks and gurre art (is that correct? gurre?) The whole anime maid computer was cute. This is just disturbing.
