MMS looks terrible! I hope they get them Frauleinized soon, the join under Eika's "eyes" looks horrible. But even then if they get a licence, they cheapness of $28 will rise.
i'm not sure but the MMS version of Sky Girls looks very unmoe-like... if Sky Girls wants articulated figures, Revoltech could be the solution ^^

I think what really looks bad on them is the chest joint. Screws up proportions, and make the figures looks kinda bent out of shape or something. The girls are cute though. I'll just wait for non-articulated versions...
Ugh, those things are horrible! I'm not a huge figure collector, but I actually hope they release quality "normal" SkyGirls figures so loli fans such as myself can acquire them. ^^;

Tsundere Eika ftw! And loved the Vic Viper (from Gradius) reference in episode 7. As for the figures, I don't really like the Busou Shiki line. But in this case if the Sonic Diver parts are done well, I don't mind getting these.
I never really liked articulated figures, so I'm hoping for a pvc of sky girls in their mecha.

These figures look like they should be in a Team America Movie. The Revoltech of Rei was much better executed. This looks like an old G.I.JOE figure on estrogen.
whats the difference between Revoltech,Figma and MMS?^^" but these figures are cheap considering them to be figures, probably because they are sotai, personally dun like sotai so i'll pass (i like stuff that is stationary so it seems more perfect in a way, if it moves there probably some part the figure dun look as nice)

@BeLe: this is Eika Ichijo ;) She's my favorite since the first OVA and the begining of the show! Those articulated figures looks great, but not really my cup of tea. Would love "standard" pvc figures of the team!

not much of a fan of articulated figures, but I might consider Sky Girls, they're soooo cuuuute
The joints look ok, but the sky girls characters are very skinny so theres less bulk to hide their joints. Maybe they should gain some weight ^^;
I prefer non-articuled figures and resin kits, but this looks nice. Normally, articuled figures and gashapons aren't to detailed like others
Im not into articulating figures. I dont play with toys. I juss display them. Plus im no into Cute characters. It disgusts me. LOL -KAZU
The joints look too visibile.. I much prefer Revoltech stuffs.. I own some myself.. Articulated figures are.. well you can always change their pose ^^

hmm... The figures don't look too great and they don't seem to have the sonic Diver parts either. Think I'll give these a miss. But I'm definitely getting an Eika Ichijo if they release a good version with the sonic Diver!
Personally, they don't seem as bad as what most people think, but maybe because I'm used to seeing joints. Long time action figure collector here.

Wish they would do it in the New (aka. Saber) Revoltech style. That would be awesome.
I think figure preferences really depend on the person. personally i can't have revoltech; i'll fiddle around with the figure every 30 seconds to put it in a new pose and totally forget about my homework.
i hope they could stand on two legs without the stand behind them.. it doesn't really look nice with them..
i love sky girls but these figures do not do the characters any justice. IMO, they should have done a fraulein revoltech of it. p.s. i think danny is going to join the eika fan club very soon. welcome!!!
I'll probably think about getting them, but then again I like the MMS figures despite their faults. But a Revoltech sculpt figure would be a lot better IMHO. Problem is, Sky Girls is (AFAIK) licensed under Konami's label, so obviously they'd work with their own product. Not watching the TV series at the moment. I'm hoping they go ahead with those SWAT-like gear and equipment that I saw for MMS (shown in a small corner of DHM magazine). Oh, and Kazu? Stop being such a goddamned troll.
