Great figure, really. Probably the best out of the four currently announced. I was so glad I was able to get one when pre-orders were going. Now to wait for Tsuruya-san's release next month :)
I, too kicked myself many times for hesitating too long with the pre-order of this. After a while, i realised that i would never have one, but i managed to find a few on ebay. One based in the US is undergoing a bidding war that would probably end up an astronomical amount, whereas the other one was from an established Hong Kong based figure seller. I went for the latter, paid £85 and now i wait. He says it is coming out at the end of August, and is 100% original japanese, not fake. His feedback seems good, so hopefully, in a few weeks, i will have this gorgeous figure too! Any more news on the extra shipment of them? I thought they were a one off, never to be re-issued. Tis an awesome figure anyway. I love Haruhi, large scale figures and i love bunny girls! All in one n___n By the way - whats with the Apple advertisement in the BG? Give her some sun! As long as she doesnt spontaneously combust in the heat, that is...
1/4 Scale, pretty large? the detailing seems top notch. Even though its a サームプル, its detail is good. グレイト！ I have no place for figures at home so I'll won't be getting one.
FREEing bunny Haruhi is indeed an awesome figure. It would be perfect if it comes with the guitar, I definitely will buy it. Still feel that bunny Kyon's sister is weird.
That Haruhi figure is a must have, from what I read and see. Besides, I'm a haruhi-ist @.@ I'm just wondering, how much does it cost in japan? I saw it at CNA for $130...(Way overpriced, the norm would be $30-$40)
Wow, 1/4 scale, something to keep my eyes out for. I don't know if I would cry if I ripped her tights but I might lie down and not get up for a while ^-^. Very high quality figure and her head can turn...something I wish my other figures could do.

@aaronanime: the price tag @ danny's link shows 9800Y, which is roughly 100-120$ CAD, so 130$ isn't that bad if you buy in flesh and blood (in a store) instead of online. This figure's really nice but I'd probably get weird looks from ppl if I keep it in my room XD;
That looks more like a bustier (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bustier) than a corset.
Maybe I will go for this in the next pre-order. I like Haruhi, but have found all the Freeing versions interesting. Just afraid if I oder this one I will want them all. ^^; What kept me from ordering it the first time was that joint just below her knee. I guess it's not too bad since you didn't say anything about it.

I loved this and the school uniform Haruhi from Freeing. Also didn't like the Mikuru version, though I do like the character, the figure turn out kinda different. But the pool was a no brainer. If Danny had included Yuki, that would be a completely different story. :P Still, I want both. But maybe, I'd rather buy the school uniform one... hmmmm
if only i had the cash to get one...

I purchased this figure recently from HLJ at Otakon as an impulse buy for around $98USD. When I took her out, to my dismay, I found a manufacturing defect on her. There was a nice fat FINGERPRINT (in black) on her left thigh under the stockings. I normally can airbrush out mistakes like this but with the stockings, I honestly don't think it's worth the hassle. You can expect to see this figure on Ebay with the same defect soon >_
maybe getting it sometime later... is she big? 1/4 scale sounds huge...

Please do make a wallpaper of her with the Mac logo at the background. It'll be fantastic on my 1680 x 1050 display. (you're the only site I know who gives out hi resolution wallpapers of quality.) I'll try to touch it up a bit with Aperture too if you'd like.
cool. this is the first time i see danny mentioning about singapore. ya i frequent the shop danny mentioned in Sunshine Plaza. in fact i dropped by there yesterday. anyway back to haruhi, ya i like it too, especially the fishnet stocking. but only complaint is the 1/4 scale is kinda too big. :-

I'm thoroughly impressed by FREEing's quality, and oh my does haruhi look amazing, but i'm more impressed with Tsuruya-the pose, her bubbly expression, the green hair coupled with the yellow bunny suit- She simply tops them all!

They seem to be making bunny kits of all the haruhi Girls based off a couple of official art pics. That's where the design for mikuru and Haruhi came from and I'm pretty sure Tsuruya and Imoto were the same. Man, Imouto in a bunny suit was all kinds of wrong...
... I totally need to find one of these. That said, my collection of Haruhi figures will be increasing in both number and size. Someone stop me from getting the 1/1 scale figure when it comes out.
