To my right is Aki TakaNori (president of Good Smile Company), below me is Max Watanabe (president of Max Factory), to the left of me is David from Otakukun.com and the rest of the members are project leaders who work on GSC/MAX products.

Starting with the last Wonfes, GSC (Good Smile Company) do a live internet broadcast until the early hours of the morning to reflect on what happened at the wonfes and speak to anime voice actors/actresses, idols, sculptors and other special guests.
You can just about make out all the broadcasting equipment at the front of the office. In this pic, the president of HobbyStock was being interviewed.

Half of the Good Smile offices. The other half is full O figures (released and pre-production).
The show went on from 10PM through 4AM. Buy the time I got home it was 6AM. At the end of the broadcast, everybody gave a huge "Otsukaresama Desu!" (お疲れさまです), which is said not only as a greeting in the office but also used in this context to mean "you worked hard/thanks."

Just like Densha Otoko, we were keeping our eyes on a 2channel thread which the 2channelers set up.

I was scheduled to go on at 11.50 JST but due to it being a live broadcast and what have you, I ended up going on with David at 1.15 AM. For those who missed it, basically I was dancing in armor to Tom Jones "It's not unusual" as my entrance and then sat down with Max Watanabe to talk about figures, dannychoo.com, Mirai Inc and also get a few words with David who was as nervous as hell ^^;

This is a pic of those name things that they stick infront of you when being interviewed.

This is going to be the 5th Shuraki box set. Her official name is Rizfis Luttiva Mente - I got the list of romanized names from Good Smile a while ago and they may change them slightly.

One of the Good Smile meeting rooms full O celebration food - David enjoying the sushi ^^;
Just like this time, for the next live broadcast, I will call out for dannychoo.com readers to join me again - limited in number and will make it a member only entry (members registered for over 12 weeks).

The same goes for future other events. If I'm off to Bandai for example (hint hint) and can take guests, I will call out to you to join me.
Good Smile live broadcast (click to enlarge)
Good Smile Post box - its exactly the same as our one at home ^^;

More coverage of the event later. In the meanwhile, all the decent coverage spotted at the following so far - check em out. And thanks to Toaruhi and Rinou for a ton of traffic for the wonfes video.
BTW, the site is under some serious traffic and the server may go walkies for a while during the Wonfes coverage.

Managed to catch the broadcast but missed out your segment ORZ

I'm pretty surprised that there was no buffering for the broadcast at all. The video was very smooth as well!

The 2 girls that came up at around 2am (Japan Time) were pretty cute ^^:

Yeah, I managed to watch the whole thing but for the last few minutes. I was actually gettin' ready to go to a party and I was downstairs when it finally ended.

Yeah, it was hilarious that I actually caught your broadcast and at first I thought the music was coming from the WonFes video you had (was watching that while listening to the live feed) then I realized that maybe it was coming from the other video and to my astonishment there was you, Danny, dancing in Trooper Armor. Heck, I even predicted that you'll probably be in Stormtrooper Armor if you were gonna show up and I was right. :D

Glad to see you on live feed and I could tell your friend David wasn't particulary excited being there. ;) And probably when you and David talked was probably the only parts I actually understood. XD

Watched the live feed but didn't get to see your part. I stopped at around midnight. It got pretty boring as I didn't get to understand most parts of what they were talking. heheh! Watched the video you uploaded about WonFes instead. Can't wait for your WonFes coverage. ^^

It was a great broadcast... I watched it all... well with a few smoking breaks and breakfast I skip a few parts. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't have any subs XDD

I really like all the scoops on figures, specially the shuraki and figma ones, that figma nanoha is awesome! And I'm considering getting Bincho-tan after watching it in the show xD Also the WF videos were great... And that girl that have like a 'darke elf' kind of dress is gorgeous! is she an idol?

And finally that part when you enter dancing was great RLOL! and how you used that name card was hilarious! Good job Danny!

Well at least you had fun danny and sounds like a tiring day!

Will we be seeing a video of this interview soon? And is this the interview where you took some of our questions here to be asked to GSC and Watanabe-san, or was it a previous post and i missed it?

Just checked from what company my 3 figures are from, seems I have 2 from Max Factory and 1 from Good Smile ;p
And some of my next figures will probably also come from Good Smile/Max Factory.

They seem to have quite a big market share on figures & nendoroids ;p

Hopefully we get to see the video afterwards :)

I used to remember Max Watanabe as one of the regular Gunpla artists for Hobby Japan. One of his works that really rocks a few years back was a 1/144 Dendrobium with checker-box camouflage color scheme.

Is he still building Gunpla for the magazine? or concentrating on his own company now?
