I finally got my Kos-mos version 4 today! Which is a rerun! She's a beauty!

Also I managed to find some rare figures which surprisingly didn't cost an arm and leg! The shounen ace Asuka and Rei special figure box edition!

Strangely the Rei one comes with an eva manga while the Asuka one comes with a skeleton stand of sort.

I'll post up a more thorough review later about them! Man! Today was simply nuts although sadly I just blew a big hole in my pocket as a result >_

Been to AFA08 in Singapore at Suntec city Convention Hall today. Morning till nite. It would be a 2 day event. With concert by Ichirou Mizuki and May'n. Went hunting for figure with friends. never end up empty-handed home. This is one of the displays seen in the event. Limited to Asia only.

I'm back from the first day of AFA 08 and it was crazy crowded. (Picture above taken in AFA'08 exhibition grounds. More specifically, outside the panel discussion area ^^)

It seems a few of the singapore readers have already posted about their interviews and whatnot.

I was there queueing since 7am this morn and one of the first to get in ^^ (I had no media pass or whatever special privileges though like some of the more famous bloggers here)

Anyway, If anyone saw a guy walking around in a black Gurren Lagann T-shirt carrying a Figma Haruhi around you know who you've spotted. ^^

Don't mess with a chaingun wielding Haruhi. Or for that matter, dun mess with Haruhi at all. XD

ebCraft 1/7 Rin Tohsaka. One of the only 3 Rin figures I have and will ever get. The dynamic pose (and the thigh high stockings, of course) is the reason I got this one. I saw other Rins before and this one seems to be the only one I like. I had to track this down on eBay. I'm a little disappointed with the face, but I still like this figure. She comes with an interchangeable left hand, either holding the dagger or just a fist.

BTW, the other Rin figures I have is the Fraulein Revoltech & GoodSmile Company's Magical Girl Rin.

Anyone else have this figure? I've kept her in the box because I worry how much she'll lean.

Just acquired Figma Kanu today and tried to do a simple photo shoot with her. Shes a nicely made figure and poses well (until I tried putting her on a stand....)(More in blog)

In total I now have 4 Figmas (Hauhi, Konata, Tsukasa, and Kanu).

For those that have Kanu, can you give me some tips on how to put the stand (and the extra stand bit) that goes into her back? The hair gets in the way at times and the extra bit doesn't want to stay in the hole. Sometimes the stand doesn't want to go in either.

And for those asking what white bit? clicky image, right side of the two faces. Sorry about image quality, did a quick one to show a few people :/.
