Hamburg Conference

The Trend Tag (Trend Day) conference went well with only one major hiccup - my MacBook Pro decided to die just a few hours before the presentation. Luckily I made a backup to a flash card but it wasn't the latest copy. Was able to use another presenters mac for my talk which saved my life - he was the only one with a mac + keynote. I only have these screencaps at the moment and am waiting for the official photos t be released. The video of the whole conference will be released too and will post them when ready. Would just like to say thanks to all for your words of encouragement which went through my head just before I stepped on stage. And yes - that is Haruhi on the podium ^^;

Harajuku Bridge

Hijacked from member Neil. Another place that you can go to if you are looking for cute girlies dressed up is Harajuku. Go on a Sunday and you will see a load of them on the Harajuku Bridge. Go on a weekday at about 4PM and head to Takeshita Dori to see girls in their school uniform stopping by for some hanging out before they go home. Nice video of Harajuku below.

Akiba Changes

Could be a turning point for Akiba. After the airgun shooting and Mrs Wide Open shenanigans, we now see a bunch of "patrol people" from "Akihabara Town Management" marching around with "no street performances" signs. We also see performers being lead away by the police - even the non leg-opening type. Looks like I wont be going back there in armor anytime soon... Via Akibaos.
