More Metal Gear Online info released

Danny-sama had made an initial post a while back at this link here. Was about a year ago or so! More info on the Gene Expansion has been posted here on Konami's website. Konami has finally released some more info on the 'gene' expantion including details on the role-character system, some team play details as well as how they're going to allow people to create profiles and interact. They go into light detail on how survival mode points will allow customization on characters, what the 'Gene' expansion pack will give players in the way of maps and such, including some of the 'roles' people will be given during online play to grant them special abilities to help their team out. Still, it's better than nothing and so far it's looking pretty sharp. The City of Sorrow is looking really really sneaky, and Metal Gear Online is probably going to make me buy a PS3, just because I love Team-Role style games like the old Splinter Cell online modes. You can see more detailed info on the left bar if you click it, including how the interface and action will be run. This looks like it's finally going to solidifiy the PS3. This game is probably going to end up being Sony's keystone now that FF13 is nonexclusive. (image taken from konami.jp) (edited, had misunderstood some original info!)

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Capcop and Tatsunoko are pairing up to make a crossover fighting game in the coming months, sporting a 'growing' list of characters from oldschool anime/bigrobot shows as well as some Sentai heroes from over the years, mixed in with some of the more popular Capcom heroes and anti-heroes! I'm pretty jazzed about it myself, I can't wait for something absurd yet awesome like EVA-02's foot coming down on someone as a super, or Eagle Ken from Gatchaman to come in and beat someone up. Kenshin Photoshoot

Asked my readers to vote on which figure gets a photoshoot last week and Kenshin here was the winner out of two simultanous figure aquire missions. Two successful missions at that! This particular Kenshin fig is my personal pref over the yet to be released version. The face is far cuter, and the pose is very very nice. Ryu vs. Akuma. Brief but epic. I'm not sure if this means we have another OVA/Movie of Street Fighter to look forward to in the future, but whatever the case may be, the creators returned back to the good-ole-days of the original Street Fighter OVA that was released on VHS way back in 199x. I did a bit more digging for info but couldn't find much. My Japanese skills are too foofy as of yet. orz.

My Dakimakura and a Tutorial

I've put up a video post about dakimakura, which covers basics as to what they are (for those that weren't yet exposed to it) and also how to clean and care for them. I couldn't upload the file to Youtube because it was too long. I kind of go into detail on what kind of fabrics they're made of and how to care for them... so it ended up being over the limit. Figure Cleaning, etc.

A few friends of mine recommended I post this here in the past, but I hesitated to do so since I feel odd linking this post for some reason or another! Anyway, with a bit of goading from people, I'm posting it up now since I figure there's people out there that may like to learn how to clean figures or whatnot. How to clean figures, wet/dry, things to be careful for! I have a few tutorials on how to care for figures, dealing with things like leaning, heat, and dusting/washing/cleaning, and as always I encourage comments, suggestions and discussion! Let me know what you guys think.

Lucky Star gets its own OVA! Just announced early yesterday in COMPTIQ and From Gamers Cool pamphlets, with official details coming in on May 10th, Kagami Yoshimizu's Lucky Star is going to be getting an OVA adaptation done!
