Yes, this is the final entry of this section. The series featured here is technically an OVA, and a short one at that... (6 episodes only!) But the plot, personalities of the characters, crazy action and more will leave you breathless and wish there were more (at least it left me in this state). The plot is about a princess that has her life saved by a female mercenary, and as a result of the accident, have their bodies switched... The mercenary then becomes the Princess of a threatened kingdom. Lots of action, emotions, funny and sad moments. Again, a must see. Well, that is all for "Blast of the past". I hope you enjoyed the ride. P.S.: I know, no Haruhi no Yuutsu, no Lucky Star. You can hate me for this, but I guess they are too popular for me to introduce them to everybody. ^^;

Well... People may have wondered why I didn't put ecchi anime in my picks. Here is one: Psychic Academy. It is a really cool piece, revolving around the story of a young man who enters an academy of psychic-capable only people. He meets a girl he has known way before and another girl (both pictured) and lives quite the crazy situations. This anime is really short, since its episodes are of ten-minute each. But it really is attaching, especially given that ecchiness is relatively tame here, when compared to other series such as Girls Bravo. Well, why don't you give it a try?

I know, maybe not that old for an anime, but it really marked me. A mix of valiant heroes (known as Servants) all seeking the Holy Grail in some sort of game, and their Masters. The main protagonist, Emiya Shiro, is forced to become one of the latter. He then makes a contract with Saber, which is a very powerful swordswoman. At least Shiro aims to win the Grail for one thing: to prevent a disaster that happened four years ago from occurring again. F/SN had quite a very weird plot for me to follow at first, but I loved it much after a while... Especially with Saber, Rin Tohsaka, Sakura Mato, Archer, Rider and Berserker. The artwork and animation, but also the music charmed me as well. Of course, a must-watch.

One of the cutest romance-themed anime out there. Basically the story of a guy having left his rural environment to live in the city (to study and have a job), but who one night discovers a Persocon, human-like robots who can perform all sorts of tasks, have the ability to think and respond accordingly and can be used as interface for communications such as the Internet, phone, etc. But the one Hideki (that's his name) finds is more than that... Chii's innocence and gentleness (and in a much lesser degree Sumomo's cuteness), the idea of feelings (namely love here) without boundaries and amusing but sometimes touching situations are why I love this series. "Hideki hentai!"

A former bad boy turned teacher, but with completely random teachings, which are more about life itself than academic-related courses. Lots of humor (most of the time subtle ones, odd faces -and lots of them you'll see!-, crazy anime references, over the top situations, etc.) but also descriptions of human flaws and the legendary optimism of the most charismatic but random teacher there can be. Also known as Elemental Gelade. A young boy aspiring to be a great pirate (Coud van Giruet) discovers a girl in suspended animation (Reverie Metherlence, generally referred as Ren) and decides to protect her no matter what and to help her get to a place named Eden Garden... all of this out of the blue. However,she is no ordinary one... She is an Edel Raid, exactly human-like female creatures (except for an embedded gem on their body) with unique, awesome abilities when bonded to a person with a contract... The adventures of the two protagonists (who are early joined by three other people) is centered on the ideas of acceptance of difference, affection, compassion, justice, etc. A light-hearted show that may be a bit too predictable, but very charming.

The other anime series featured in my little segment I haven't watch fully (Only watched Second Raid as well as the OVA). For those who like Mecha, funny moments (Just watching Sagara acting like if everywhere was a dangerous place is a real comedic gem), pretty girls, love triangles... By the way, FMP! FUMOFFU is the more comedic-oriented of the three.
