I think the amount of ero content on the site is just fine. Even if you mark things as "adult", workplaces, schools and such will still filter the site if they see that content on it. Part of this, some people, may think is due to necessity. I obviously don't think this, I think it's due to people's ignorance that things like this are done, people are much to uptight about ero things in every manifestation and aspect. Meh, don't mean to insult anyone here but with the proper raising of a child, watching things like this, more "H" things, is actually beneficial. Most people jump to conclusions and state their opinions (which is just fine if it's only that), when they have no idea about the psychological effects things like this really have on children. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. Much to often do I see that position bring taken and those excuses being used, it's very typical of americans and quite disappointing. I don't mean to be insulting to anyone who likes dubs but I do think they should give subs a chance, after a short amount of time watching subs you DO tend to read them a whole lot faster, there is still plenty of time to watch the animation itself. My monitor size is odd, 1440x900. But I always download as large a size of wallpaper as is available, I do this because I'm planning on upgrading my monitor down the line, getting multiple monitors, etc. Also because I sometimes work with the wallpapers in photoshop, larger res means I have a bit more versatility. :p ( コメントを見る » )

Oh yeah, btw. Just to give an example, how many times a month/week do you eat rice? I eat it about 3 times a month on average. =/ This is why there are such huge differences in the life expectancies and overall health. While this is true, Asians do generally tend to eat much fewer calories and more nutrients. I know that some will eat just like westerners, junk food and such, but most don't. The occasional fast food won't hurt much, it's the constant living off of it that does. I myself (an American, unfortunately), have a typical western diet, very few nutrients and mostly fatty meats and such. This is something I'm trying to change but it was my choice to eat like this in the first place, just as any and everyone in eastern cultures ... ( コメントを見る » )

I've read quite a bit on this subject recently, It's late and I don't feel like typing out too much but, basically there have been studies done between Eastern (mainly Asian) countries in general and Western countries, regarding diet, outlook on life, personality, and cultural differences in general. The findings show that Eastern countries generally tend to focus more on external factors, social factors and such rather than personal factors, this can lead to less self indulgence in many things and as such it CAN lead to bet... I agree with most of his points. I don't, however, agree with his definition of otaku; "For me, otaku generically refers to someone with an almost unhealthy (okay, just plain unhealthy) obsession with the anime culture and subculture, specifically dependent on the adjective in front (like car otaku)". Although it CAN be unhealthy I don't think it should generally be thought of as being so. There is a limit to obsessions and taking them past that limit can be unhealthy, not everyone does it and not all otaku should be gene... ( コメントを見る » )
