that's a pretty good attempt for your third model. i've also checked out your blog. my advice for you is to start with some 1/144 HGs for practice, and gradually work your way up to MG and PG. start with brushes, move on to spray cans, and only invest in an airbrush if you plan on making gunpla one of your long term hobbies. also, if you don't like the glossy look of your paint, coat your gundams with a layer of topcoat ( コメントを見る » )

what did you use to do those panel lines? doesn't look like you've used a fine tipped marker. try removing it with an eraser, if that doesn't work, use rubbing alcohol, you may need to repaint that part, but since its white, you can just spray some mr.surfacer on top. when it comes to panel lines, practice makes perfect. i dust my figures and models about once every two weeks. its not about enjoying the cleaning, more of a necessity. at present, about 3/4 of my collection are sitting in ikea display cases, i keep most of my newer gundams models on the computer desk as i like to play with them when i'm slacking ( コメントを見る » )
