I preferred the manga ending than the movie's. The movie ending...makes sense, yet...unsatisfying. By the way, the girl in robes at the final pages of the manga was not Misa. It's explained in Vol.13: How to Read of the Death Note manga (more of a data book actually). No spoilers here...but Misa fans would be 'unsatisfied'. And also, there's actually a few chapters (or just one? Couldn't remember) taking place after the death of Light. :) ( コメントを見る » )

There was already a live-action adaptation of the original anime movie, starring Matsushima Nanako as the aunt of Seita and Setsuko. The made-for-TV movie special was told from the viewpoints of the aunt instead of the siblings, depicting how the war changed her from a caring woman to a 'heartless' one due to the circumstances. The anime movie still touched me more...and I definitely recommend people who have not watched it, or who could not complete it, to finish the film...despite the boxes of tissues you might use up. :P Hell,... This seriously comes as a shock to me. Anyone heard of Xiaxue, a notorious local (Singapore) female blogger? She has a Wikipedia entry. O_o Now, in terms of notability, I dun see Xiaxue being invited to Germany for a speech. I only accidentally see Xiaxue being invited on shows which use her big mouth for viewership ratings. Hmmm...OK. Still, I believe my eyes. =D Anyway, I asked and searched around on the net, and the answer is unanimous that Takaiwa-san is the suit actor for Den-O, all forms. The only time he did not play the other forms of Den-O other than Sword form was in the movie, since he can't split into 4. =P That was the only time the respective suit actors for the Imagins played their respective forms in Den-O. Hmmm...I'm rather certain that Takaiwa-san was the one who played every form of Den-O. If you have checked out the different suit actors, their builds are all different (Okamoto-san being the most brawny IMO, and Ogura-san the slimmest). And in every Den-O form, his build remain the same. Anyway, just placed this question in HJU...shall wait for the answer. And actually, the different forms of Den-O did not require an entire change of suit, just the chest/back armor and masks. So they just finish all scenes with that specific form, th... ( コメントを見る » )

Kiva's good so far...think it's the first series to adopt simultaneous telling of 2 stories of different times. The story of the past is still very interesting, and has the more comical character, but the story of the present is starting to get repetitive, the only plus point being the main Rider getting new forms. I'm gonna stick with it though...a lesson learned from Den-O! (A great success, though a seriously slow start! =D ) ( コメントを見る » )

Well Roddy...hate to break it to you, but I'm a guy. =P The girl in the image above is Kikuchi Mika, who played Umeko/DekaPink in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. And yeah, I agree with you that watching toku is more of a guy thing...though they are girls who watch and swoon over the pretty boys. Well, I started quite late on tokusatsu, so the ones I've watched are pretty recent. Trying very hard to find the old legendary ones...but so far it has been futile. =( ( コメントを見る » )
