Chinese born in Australia, currently learning Japanese, began learning like 4 years ago.
Anime kept me focused in learning Japanese more, especially during those days when I felt too lazy to learn from a book.
Liked anime since I was a child (5 yrs old??), first series I watched was DragonballZ & Doraemon.
I love to draw, but I'm not too good at it... My current goal is to draw decent anime/manga in a few minutes rather than a few hours... (problem is... I want everything perfect, which means erasing and redrawing, erasing etc...)
Love anything kawaii.
Going to Japan at the end of this year. otanoshimi ni shite imasuyo.

What shrine or temple is this btw? Its so empty.
during New Years Eve I went to Zojoji temple. I arrived like 1.5 hours earlier and it was easy to move about. About an hour before midnight, it was completely packed.

All I have so far is 3 figures, 40 or so doujinshi and some books lol. Thats all I can fit in my luggage atm. Plus I bought some bulky clothes which takes up the rest of my free space.

In the area I'm staying at, Minami Senjuu. There are like 5 buses full of police patrolling as soon as it gets dark. They've been doing this for over a week already. Not sure what they're doing though... But with that amount of police, it must be to control some mobs. ( View formatted comment » )

I'm spending a lot less for sure... I'm currently in Osaka, japan... Arrived 2 nights ago. Going to Kyoto tomorrow. Originally my budget for food was 3000yen a day, but I managed to cut that down to under 2000yen.
Haven't even bought myself anything yet.. lol I'm probably saving up for when I get to Tokyo, which is in like 6 days time. Really looking forward to going to Tokyo!

Plenty of Chinese Restaurants around here... there's no easy way to tell whether the food is good or not, just have to go in and try for yourself.
Some of the food is delicious and cheap while some others are more expensive and tastes bad.

Gendou is the best place for anime music. For songs like vocaloid I use piapro... If it's not there then I'll use Nicosound.
For other songs, maybe just search for torrents for the soundtrack and select the individual song you want. Just use google and type in the the name of the song and at the end add "torrent". ( View formatted comment » )
