i totally agree. but still... the goth outfit somehow rocks! although in real life, goth outfits seldom look as great... maybe the make-up doesn't go along nicely... ( View formatted comment » )

I have quite a few... Kenshin Himura, Spawn, some of the Bleach cast... oh yeah, the Elric brothers from FMA. Seems like quite a couple? ^^; But I have equal if not more female figurines! ( View formatted comment » )

I agree with you that I'll miss Lulu and C.C. the most. In fact, C.C. doesn't get much air time!! >.< ( View formatted comment » )

No wories Danny, this guy highlights mostly the funny accents of his own race and the quirkiness of human beings and sometimes our stupid decisions... ( View formatted comment » )

Yup, for stand-up comedy on the French and the English, check out Edward Izzard. He's the dude who did the "Lego Starwars Canteen" piece on Youtube. ( View formatted comment » )

I agree with aviadreams87. I find her cosplay very good, especially the hair, it's very similar to anime version (except the colour!) She looks better or even slightly more kawaii when she doesn't smile.. I've been there! It's a short walk from Ueno station if I'm not wrong... and before entering the street, you'll walk past a huge 6 to 8-storey building filled with anime toys, manga etc!! Correct me if I'm wrong... Anyway, danny-san, let us know when you'll be in Singapore! If we can't host you, at least we can take you out for a meal FOC! ^-^ ( View formatted comment » )

Thanks dude. I think it got lost in a barrage of uploads! LOL Anyway, C2 has gotta be one of my most favourite female anime characters... I guess it's the mysterious vibe, the awesome long (green) hair and nice nice nice figure to boot! ( View formatted comment » )

Hope your back does get better with exercise Danny-san! As for your question of REAL health maintenance, I seriously think exercise is a very important part of life. Running is quite a chore but surprisingly, after torturing yourself for a good 30mins, you'll find that you actually feel VERY GOOD. Of course, if the sun in Japan is as scorching as the sun in Singapore, you may wanna take your healthy jogs in the evening or early morning. Over here, we're lucky 'cos we get to run along the beach, where there are many nice ... ( View formatted comment » )

I think childhood for me was more carefree. Now, as a young adult...sigh, you've actually gotta worry about survival, i.e. working to feed yourself and stuff. Of course, you'd have the financial capability to buy your favourite stuff and all but akin to what Ben Parker said, "With age (power), comes great responsibility..." I don't think I or we all for the matter cannot handle these responsibilities, it's just that you no longer have the luxury to "switch-off" or "take a break". I seri... ( View formatted comment » )

@soju: you're asking me? Ehhh... I cannot really remember. All I know is that it was a 40Gb external USB HDD. Eh... And got some fella to rescue the stuff in it, but apparently the reading head was the culprit and if they opened the vacuum-tight casing(?) to fix the head, the data would be lost anyway... Honestly, I don't know what I've just tried to convey... not too good with specifics... ( View formatted comment » )

I used to back up my data until my worst nightmare occurred. I was using the IBM Thinkpad and had all my data backed-up on an external HDD. The Thinkpad was about three years old and started to get cranky which was the reason why I spent a great deal of effort and time to back-up all my photos (3 friggin' years' worth of travel photos in both the States/Europe!) and all my music and movies. Only to find that... on my way back home to Singapore, my mom dropped my Thinkpad at the Airport (it obviously died after that) and when ... ( View formatted comment » )

@Barsona, hmmmm that sounded very interesting. Have you read Thomas More's Utopia? The criminals in the utopian society were made to slave and labour, putting even scum of the society to good use and in a way, repay the society for the "sins" they have committed upon the society. As for Danny-san's question, philosophically speaking, I think Japan has one of the most interesting criminal justice philosophies in the region if not the world. I've read in a very very long article that the Japanese c... ( View formatted comment » )
