I say those women should cater to all the perverted fantasies their husbands have, be their personal maid 24/7 and make them feel like kings. Seriously, women who want almost double the average income are just damn greedy. ( View formatted comment » )

The teacher in the class had a lot of influence on how much I liked it or not (except math and chemistry, I was plain retarded in those). For example I don't exactly like history but I really liked the person teaching it, so I always had a very good grade. As for the ones I personally like, language and art, the first one because it wasn't hard and the second because well it's obvious ^^ ( View formatted comment » )

As long as he's (she for the guys) a nice guy, isn't dumb and has an average income I think they're fair game. Those women up there are so unrealistic, because the majority of the population is middle class. I understand they would like to have as little worries about money as possible, but that's not always possible. ( View formatted comment » )

Hahahahah well I've always been healthier than I look and never got seriously sick (in fact most of the time I got sick my parents just dragged my ass to school anyway), so the times I was allowed to skip school due to sickness I was pretty psyched. ( View formatted comment » )

If you don't mind spending a few more bucks for another medium, how about FIXIT? it's a two part clay (you have to mix it half and half for it to start curing) that's non-toxic with no baking needed. I's around 30 dollars but well worth it, it hardens like a ROCK. There are a couple more out there, but I've come to like fixit, it's quite good for figurines. ( View formatted comment » )

I usually get looks when people find out I'm over 20, they think I'm a teen but that's not because of my looks, it's because I am so freaking childish ^^U ( View formatted comment » )

......=_____= that... sucks so much. And here I decided to follow a career in animation. I've always known that doing the actual animation is a low pay job, so I had my mind in other areas of the industry, but man is animation that bad to work in? it's making me have second thoughts. there are some websites with step by step "tutorials" (half of them are just pictures and some comments, but still help a lot) and all the figures start with: sketch, wire skeleton and then the putty/clay. ( View formatted comment » )

I don't usually get sick, that's why I always loved to get sick until the end of high school, because being sick enough meant staying at home instead of going to school, and man it was worth it ^^ Now it's a pain, because my immune system is not as good (I stay sick three times the time I used to) and I live by myself. Luckily I have never gotten seriously sick, so I guess it's a blessing in some way. So no, I used to yay but now is big fat NAY. ( View formatted comment » )

OMG the guide "the infinite uses of dakimakura" by Danny Choo! in your bookstore for $9.99! XD No seriously, now I know what to do with mine ^^ I'm a girl and eyes or health care material of any kind don't bother me (ok maybe except guro, best. and the hardcore stuff). I wish I could say the same for guys though, they sure get freaked out by some exposed male flesh. ( View formatted comment » )

Exactly. One shouldn't be ashamed of their kind of work, as long as it put food on the table and made you an honest hard working person. The problem is that a lot of parents put these ridiculous expectations (perfect grades, perfect job, perfect this and that) and it may or may not be a factor in how screwed the kid gets. Like this case, he got so frustrated he couldn't get a job in less than a year after graduating he just quit looking for one. Maybe he wouldn't have gotten so crazy about it if society and/or his parent... ( View formatted comment » )

If you don't need to bake the clay, have you tried making a skeleton of the body first? it would hold everything much better than leaving the clay on its own, especially the delicate parts like arms and hair. ( View formatted comment » )

True, but there's also the stigma of working low pay jobs that get on people's nerves. A lot of parents absolutely hate it when their children work low-pay jobs because it looks like they fail at life. I don't really get it, but the -sometimes unconscious- pressure of the parents and the incompetence of the sons/daughters can be one nasty combo. ( View formatted comment » )
